𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱! Since October 2023, we have been working even more closely with Fraunhofer IKTS and 5microns GmbH. We are conducting joint research in the ERDF-funded project "𝗣𝗢𝘅𝗜𝗥: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗰𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗥 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗥 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿". Our goal until September 2026: The development of an IR window and its integration into an IR sensor, based on materials and manufacturing processes that are characterized as resource-saving and environmentally friendly.  The funding is provided by the “FTI-Thüringen Technologie” program as part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).  Promising initial approaches have already been developed in the first months of the project. Great news! Recently the project, Going Green with Graphene (G3), has entered an exciting new phase with the launch of G3-Demo. The new project with a total budget of 2.8 million SEK, is funded by Vinnova, Energimyndigheten and Formas, ett forskningsråd för hållbar utveckling, through SIO Grafen. Building on the foundation set by G3, which explored using graphene to enhance natural fiber composites, Linköpings universitet, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, GRAFREN AB. Graphene that works. , Trifilon, X Shore and IMA will push further into real-world applications by developing a small scale boat hull using graphene-enhanced natural fibers. We're working with many partners in the #hySUCCESS consortium to look at the social and economic impact of green #hydrogen and the changes that need to be made to move towards a hydrogen-based economy. The consortium has been given 12 million euros from NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) to carry out this research 🎉. As one of the main participants CWI will look at markets and business models. "We want to develop new models for automated hydrogen-electricity markets”, senior researcher Valentin Robu explains. “For example, hydrogen can be an important source of flexibility and storage, and can relieve network #congestion, which is a major problem for the power grid in the Netherlands at the moment.” Other partners in this project are, among others: Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Universiteit Utrecht (Utrecht University), HAN University of Applied Sciences, TU Delft, Hanzehogeschool Groningen, Universiteit Leiden and Tilburg University.   👉 https://bit.ly/3Sb9zNy

This funding will support their groundbreaking project aimed at high-efficiency continuous single-step carbon capture and mineralization.
