Very proud of this new tool, tons of work went into it! The database offers a comprehensive and detailed view of the open research questions remaining in the portfolio of CDR methods. With a new MFF and Framework Programme for R&I ahead, it's imperative that funding support can address these open questions and advance carbon removal methods. Let us know what you think!

We've centralised and complimented existing resources from RMI, the Commission and Frontier (see resources in the comments) and compiled over 350 research gaps to offer an overview of existent carbon dioxide removal (CDR) research gaps and support you in making informed decisions regarding CDR funding. We have identified CDR areas that lack sufficient research or are underexplored to help target funding where it is most needed to accelerate CDR research, development and innovation (RD&I).
