You are better off selling the quality of your product or service than trying to be the low-cost provider. If you want your customers to pay a premium for what you offer, you must provide exceptional customer service. A culture of service is harder to duplicate and will make it easier for your customers to justify paying more for your product. There is never an end to how low some companies will drop costs to get business. Don't get trapped playing the low-cost game unless you are willing to let your profits drop along with your prices.

Everytime you leave the sale when you don’t know the answer to the question your customer is asking, you lose their trust. Know the product you are selling. Who makes it? Where is it made? Whats the difference between this and that? What makes it this price? You must be able to justify the price or they walk.

#Business #Tip : Be careful not to price your product or service too low. It is usually much easier to lower the price, than to raise it. With a higher price, you maintain the option to provide discounts if needed to win a sale. You can’t do that if it’s is too low to begin with.

Salesperson 1: “Get this memory card for extra storage.” Salesperson 2: “This memory card gives you space for an extra 1,000 images and 500 videos—perfect for capturing all your memories without worrying about storage!” The second approach works because it focuses on how the memory card will improve life, rather than just stating obvious features. Focus on how what you offer can make life easier or solve a problem. Identify the customer’s pain point, then show them how your product or service is the solution. Cash out—money in the wallet.
