🩺 Excited to share our recent project: 𝗞𝗠𝗣 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆! As part of our 2nd year, 2nd semester project for the Information Technology Project (ITP) module at SLIIT, our team developed a comprehensive Pharmacy Management System using the MERN stack. 🛠️ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: ● 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸: MERN Stack ● 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁: React, HTML, Tailwind CSS ● 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿: Express.js, Node.js ● 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲: MongoDB KMP Pharmacy is designed to streamline and enhance the efficiency of pharmacy operations. I applied for the position of Program Lead (R&D) for the STEP-ODISHA project at an NGO. As part of their selection process, the first level involved an assessment focused on data analysis and designing a demo project based on some specific instructions. I received the email on November 6, 2024, around 7:00 PM. At that time, I was at the hospital due to a medical emergency involving my younger sister, and I stayed there for five days. After returning home, I opened the email and immediately began working on the assignment. However, by then it was already November 11, and the deadline had passed (November 10th, 11:59 PM). I tried to reach out to the team, requesting an extension of a few hours to complete Question No. 2, while I had already sent the answer to Question No. 1 as an attachment. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from the HR team, not even a simple reply to inform me that they could not extend the deadline. Thank you for your cooperation, Team. I am excited to share that I have successfully completed the Data Wrangling and R Programming in Health Metrics workshop held in Karachi, Pakistan, from July 8-12, 2024. This workshop, conducted by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, provided comprehensive training in Global Burden of Disease (GBD) data, methods, findings, and their implications. Special thanks to the workshop organizers and instructors for their invaluable insights and expertise. 🚀 Celebrating Two Years at Uburu! 🚀 As I look back on my two-year journey at Uburu, I feel incredibly proud of the milestones and innovative projects I've been a part of. Here are some of the highlights: 🔍 Healthcare Analytics: I created comprehensive infographics, dashboards, and a detailed report on the cost of care for pre-diabetes and diabetes in Ghana, which was proudly featured on Statista.com. 💻 Python Wizardry: - I developed an algorithm to standardize uploaded CSV files, making them available for download in a clean, organized format. - I created a classification algorithm that tokenizes records across various databases, ensuring accurate identification of individuals using unique columns. - I built an algorithm to classify DICOM files and radiology reports, linking them using unique identifiers like patient names and phone numbers, while deidentifying sensitive information. 🔄 Dynamic SQL Query Builder: I was part of a team that led the design of a feature that translates user inputs into dynamic SQL queries, pulling data from multiple API connections to deliver precise search results. 🛠️ EasyOCR for Deidentification: Leveraged EasyOCR to scan X-ray files for patient names burnt into the actual DICOM images, effectively identifying and deidentifying these texts to maintain patient confidentiality. Check out my incredible achievements, which only scratch the surface of the amazing work I've been fortunate enough to lead at Uburu.
