📢 2024 Privacy Rule Litigation Update On December 23, the day before the enforcement deadline, the court issued a preliminary injunction (PI) specific to Texas Plaintiff Dr. Purl on Reproductive Health records. 👉 Read the full memorandum opinion and order attached. The rule is otherwise enforceable for everyone else. The similar Texas Attorney General lawsuit versus HHS is still pending and motions on the legality of this rule and the original Privacy Rule are due in that case on or before January 17.
