🌟 Day Five at L&T Finance: The Finale of an Inspiring Induction 🌟 Today marked the last day of my induction at this wonderful company, and it was truly a memorable experience. We engaged in a series of fun-filled activities, including tower building and vision board creation. Each activity had a profound meaning and purpose behind it, emphasizing the skills and values we need to thrive. We had the privilege of hearing from several speakers, with notable mentions to Raj Dighe sir, our department head and Data Strategy lead. His explanations were exceptional, shedding light on team bifurcations and strategic insights. The fact that every speaker, including Raj Dighe sir, took time from their busy schedules to meet us fresh graduates speaks volumes about the company's culture and the values they uphold. As I wrap up my posts highlighting this incredible 5-day induction at L&T Finance, I want to share my gratitude for the experiences and knowledge gained. This journey has been enlightening, and I look forward to contributing to the company with the values instilled in us. So last week I sat on a panel to discuss what it means to be a 🏋♂️ Human-Led and 📲 Tech-Powered organisation , with the ambition to embed Technology in everything we do. Whilst this is certainly an interesting topic to cover, the best part of this Panel was the targeted audience : our young and ambitious PwC Associates ✨ who joined the firm in September 2022. I shared the stage with my dear colleagues Dr Sudheer Parwana Stewart Light Rizwan Nazir Richard Gott and our awesome host Sabina Stana. I was inspired and proud to hear their views, visions and career advice to our Associates. Nevertheless, deep inside I couldn't wait for the Q&A session to start. Why? For two reasons : 1️⃣ Often two-way communication is more productive where there is an exchange of ideas, opinions can be shared and can trigger constructive thoughts 2️⃣ I believe that as Technology continues to disrupt everything we do, we must empower sooner, rather than later, our future leaders as the current pace of change is faster than ever. 🎓 Today, we know that education, independent of innate ability, helps stimulate innovation and develop technology. We need to ensure that our graduates, as they develop, are empowered to collaborate and innovate with our leaders so we can fulfill our ambitions to embed Technology into every service we provide. Having said that, People will always sit at the heart of our organisation, hence our focus on being Human-Led and Tech-Powered. We were asked for example : “How do we ensure that our drive to Technology innovation does not overshadow the importance of human judgment in our approach?” Other questions I found particularly interesting included : “What role can I play in shaping the future❓ ” “How can we leverage our partnership and alliances with Tech companies to accelerate innovation ❓ ” “How does the firm plan to support and train me, what tools do I have at my disposal ❓ ” The good news is that all questions were answered and made actionable for the Associates to put into practice, the bad news is I probably can’t publicly share all the answers but comment or send me a message, I'll be happy to chat 🌟 . Finally, we went for dinner together where more questions came our way, and all the panelists were spread across the tables of Associates to integrate and provide more insights. I think these moments do matter when leaders take time to engage and listen to our young technologists off-site (i.e. without any distractions). I hope we had a positive impact and helped shape the career of our future leaders. #TAP #Growth #PwC #humanledtechpowered
