Last week, the Global Fuse Leadership team (Mike Uilk, Alex Russomagno, Diego Lopes, Julie Ulbrich, Jeffrey Smith, Felipe Trindade & Bernhard Schmitz) gathered at PTx Trimble's Westminster CO headquarters to plan for a strong finish in 2024 and align on plans for 2025. A key goal in 2025 is to help execute AGCO's strategy to become the global leader in mixed fleet precision agriculture solutions through leveraging AGCO's global equipment dealership network. During the week, we had productive discussions with Andrew Sunderman, GM at PTx Trimble, and other members of the PTx Trimble Product Management leadership team. What makes a person truly resilient? Rudyard Kipling’s poem If is a masterclass in leadership, character, and balance. Every time I revisit it, I’m reminded that the qualities that build enduring success in business and in life are not only about strategy or skills, but about values like patience, integrity, and courage. Listening to Sir Michael Caine recite it, you can feel the depth of wisdom in every line: "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs..." "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, and treat those two impostors just the same..." "If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds' worth of distance run..." These are the traits we strive for every day — to lead with strength, stay humble in success, and resilient in the face of setbacks. I hope this reminder resonates with you as much as it did with me.
