New Season 2024 to change the rules of the game This year, 2024, the World Padel Tour disappears after 10 years, and it is now Premier Padel who takes over the responsibility of continuing the high-level professional Padel circuit. Up to this point, both circuits were coexisting, however, the high pace of tournaments has led to the decision for the World Padel Tour to disappear, making way for Premier Padel. If you're wondering what Premier Padel is, it is a Padel circuit led by Nasser Al-Khelaifi (president of PSG) and Qatar Sports Investment. Its impact since it began in 2022 has been immediate and it has become the most innovative and professionalized circuit, to the extent that it is the circuit in highest demand. The new circuit offers the possibility of playing tournaments in unique locations never before seen. Some of these locations include Roland Garros, the Pyramids of Giza, or the Foro Italico in Rome. Its debut took place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from February 26th to March 2nd, which demonstrates the country's firm commitment to this sport. Tournaments are also held in Spain, with no less than four tournaments to be held: Andalucía P1 and P2, Madrid P1, and the Barcelona Tour Finals. In these tournaments, we will see some of the biggest names in Padel such as Alejandro Galán, Juan Lebrón, Agustín Tapia, and Arturo Coello. At Padel Hispania, we are committed to promoting Padel at both amateur and professional levels. To achieve this, we offer courts with the best possible finishes and with top-quality materials. 🤔 Why isn't padel an #Olympic sport? With the Paris Olympics starting today, this question often arises among padel enthusiasts. 🎾🏅 Despite its immense popularity and global growth, padel has yet to find its place on the Olympic stage. So, what are the reasons? Here are a few key factors: -International recognition: To be considered an Olympic sport, padel needs to be recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). While it has gained popularity, it is still in the process of establishing itself across all continents. -Federations and regulations: The sport needs an international federation that meets the IOC's requirements, including broad global representation and the organization of standardized international competitions. -Competition for inclusion: The Olympics have a limited number of sports they can include. New disciplines must compete with other established and emerging sports for a spot. -Competition history: The IOC evaluates the history and organization of international competitions. Although padel is growing rapidly, it needs more time and recognized global events. We'd love to hear your thoughts. What do you think padel needs to become an Olympic sport? How do you see the future of padel evolving? Leave your comments below and join the conversation! ⬇️ #Playtomic #Padel #Olympics #Sports

How much do professional padel players earn? As popularity skyrockets, so too are player earnings. The emergence of Premier Padel, the new world tour owned by Qatar Sports Investments, has been a game changer for player prize pool. Players' take for winning Major events now exceeds USD50k, up 2.5x from the Masters Final of the World Padel Tour Newly formed competitions like Pro Padel League in the US and Hexagon Cup in Europe distribute prize pools of USD1m+ while others like Ultimate Padel Tour UPT and Reserve Cup distribute about a quarter of this. With padel rapidly becoming a global sport now broadcast in 180+ countries, larger competitions will emerge. Back in 2021 only a handful of players earned USD100k on tour. In 3 short years, elite padel pros now have a path to become multi-millionaires both on and off the court. #padel #india #padelindia #padelearnings #premierpadel
