Step 1- Prepare Instruments and Equipments ( T-Rex Device, Probe and Tester) Step 2 - Connect Probe to the T-Rex Device Step 3 - Connect Probe output to smart positioner input Step 4 - Connect Trex to device to positioner using the HART application ( The success of this process displays data of the control valve like, Model number, Tag number e.t.c) Step 5- Remove positioner from service ( Valve won't respond to stroke check when in service) Step 6 - Stroke at different percentage 25%/50%/75% e.t.c and observe travel response ( Travel should correspond to input for test to be passed). Step7- Once test is passed, exit and return positioner to service. Factory Physics allows, even on a Jobshop (see figure below), to identify the bottleneck of each routing and manage each routing with a ConWip scheme. ConWip is simple, because you simply calculate the ideal WIP level for each ConWip cycle, keep it constant and, with simple calculations, determine the "right time" to release a job in a given routing and meet the customer's requested due date.
