On the day King Charles and Queen Camilla flew in to Sydney, another Royal was arriving at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Queen Elizabeth arrived for a summer of homeporting in Sydney, celebrating 100 years of Cunard sailing to Australia. It also marked the official start of Carnival Corporation & plc’s summer cruise season. With musical performances, a delicious morning tea, and speeches by Carnival Country Manager Peter Little and Cunard VP Matthew Gleaves, even Sydney's rain didn't dampen the day! More than 100 people were in attendance, as Peter Little spoke about Carnival group's nine brands – 17 ships in total – taking hundreds of thousands of guests on fun and memorable holidays at sea this summer. #cruising #summer #carnival #sydney #tourism Peter Little Matthew Gleaves Katrina McAlpine Julian Rosenberg Greg Dehn Jeremy Goodman Lynne Scrivens PEPR Agency Photo credit: James D.
