I have some of the most fascinating coffee meetings. Something about the authentic connection and organic conversation on topics I'm passionate about and nerd out on. Anyways, Trish Nicolas and I got to having some really good convo about the value of internal communications (and DE&I) and the broader impacts. Two stats that I feel we should spend more time on: - Global employee disengagement costs $8.8 TRILLION a year, amounting to 9% of the global GDP. (Source: Gallup) - Organizations with high employee engagement outperform those with low engagement by 202%. (Source: Dale Carnegie) 🗣 Invest in internal communications. Period.
