Pancreatic Cancer, a leading cause of cancer-related deaths, receives half the funding of lung cancer research and less than 1/3 the funding of breast cancer research. It's time to change this disparity. Join us at DASH for Detection June 8 at Montrose Harbor to help us raise funds for early detection to help beat these odds. 💜 Click the link to join us! https://ow.ly/CA7k50S17yw #DASHforDetection #KnowMyRisk #EarlyDetection #PancreaticCancer #PancreasCancer #PancreaticCancerResearch #PancreaticCancerAwareness #StrongerThanCancer #25YearsOfProgress #5KRun #FamilyFunRun

"What makes the Generations Study unique is its size - more than 110,000 women - and the long-term follow up. We've already followed up with these women for 20 years, and that provides a lot of rich information that allows us to study what might be causing breast cancer" - Professor Montserrat Garcia-Closas. The Breast Cancer Now Generations Study is currently led my Professor Montserrat Garcia-Closas and Amy Berrington. With a team of 15 researchers, they're following over 110,000 women for 40 years to understand why breast cancer develops – giving hope to the generations of tomorrow. https://lnkd.in/ef8dZG3e

In October, we honor Breast Cancer Awareness. In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. But, there is hope. Advancements in early detection methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught in its earliest localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. Head to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to learn more and donate to this beautiful cause: https://lnkd.in/gx7bsq-a #BreastCancerAwareness #SupportTheCause#BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #BreastCancerSupport #EarlyDetectionSavesLives

Breast Cancer Now has put a refreshed emphasis on brand-building over the past four years since its merger with Breast Cancer Care. Previously partnering with agency BMB, which built the charity’s first-ever brand strategy, Breast Cancer Now is now working with Ogilvy UK to reach more people impacted by breast cancer over the next three years. We caught up with marketing lead Rachael Franklin to talk about the strategy. https://lnkd.in/ebtSMwrC

I don't mind sharing I had my first mammogram recently, timely as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I had many questions beforehand, but it was surprisingly simple and painless, although uncomfortable for a few short seconds and took less than 15 minutes. Research is key to better breast cancer detection and treatment lies in research. So, for each pack of select consumables bought this October, Cytiva will donate $1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. If you need that big consumable order, now is the time to take advantage and help deliver more breast cancer breakthroughs. https://cytiva.link/sbiek
