At the time they were a return to form for AMG, hearkening back to the days when the Affalterbach tuner made low-production, high-performance versions of Mercedes-Benz cars that were just barely tame enough to drive on the street. To date, six models have received the Black Series treatment. Five are represented here, as is a 2005 CLK AMG DTM coupe of similar temperament.
