Cartier Philanthropy’s Post

Bella Jean is full of surprises… Yes, she’s a beautiful baby girl who truly lives up to her name and she’s also the 100,000th person that MiracleFeet has treated for #clubfoot since the organisation was created! Clubfoot is a congenital anomaly that affects 200,000 babies every year. We don’t see it in the US or Europe because doctors correct it soon after birth. MiracleFeet brings the same, non-surgical treatment to children in need around the world, using a series of plaster casts and a foot brace to guide the foot into the proper position. It is successful in 95% of cases and costs less than $500 per child. It’s also a powerful antidote to scepticism. And who doesn’t need a bit of that now and again?
