It was a wonderful experience to join this conference which was conducted by ICE. The conference was all about how we can implement Artificial Intelligence in industries related to civil and other purposes of civil engineering. Artificial intelligence can be in traffic analysis and modern designing, Floor analysis, AGG, image analysis, and many more. like some examples, It shows the clear footage of blast fragments and determines the shape and size of the aggregates in industries. Excited to share our latest conference paper: "Damage Tolerance in Topologically Optimized Structures: Exploring Structural Integrity Through Worst-Case Damage Optimization" which was presented at the International Conference of Steel and Composite for Engineering Structures (ICSCES 2023) This study is now available as a book chapter in Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering (volume 486). This study represents a significant leap forward in the realm of robust structural design. Longevity is a paramount consideration, and incorporating failure as a design criterion is essential for extending the structural lifespan. By shifting the focus from solely optimizing for strength and load-bearing capacity to also encompassing failure mitigation strategies, we significantly enhanced the structural durability and resilience. Our research delves deep into the intricate dynamics of topology optimization techniques. We aim to fortify structural systems against damage by meticulously analyzing worst-case damage distribution scenarios. Our methodology is nothing short of innovative. We seamlessly integrate topology optimization with worst-case scenario analysis, offering a novel approach to identifying optimal structural configurations. Through rigorous investigation, we scrutinized cantilever beam structures under diverse boundary conditions and damage sizes. https://lnkd.in/gHBXHNWT #StructuralEngineering #TopologyOptimization #DamageTolerance #StructuralIntegrity #EngineeringInnovation

Attended a fascinating 1-hour webinar @ Engineering Institute of Technology on Large-Scale Evaluation of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings for Seismic Retrofit today! Learned about seismic demand and resistance factors which depend on the structural properties of the existing structure and seismic conditions of the building location. It was great to gain insights into seismic performance checks. Excited to apply these new learnings to my upcoming career. #Reinforced Concrete #Seismic Retrofit
