𝖪𝖾𝖾𝗉𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗍𝗋𝖺𝖽𝗂𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝖺𝗅𝗂𝗏𝖾.. Our well driller Chris knows this Schramm, Inc rig like the back of his hand, having drilled thousands of wells throughout his 30+ year career. Our helpers Gino and Eddie are on the opposite end of this, having just started out in their careers and the industry. It's easy (and somewhat common practice nowadays) to assume the younger generations aren't capable, or willing, to learn from those more skilled than them. The alternative? Finding those that are eager to develop a skill set, putting them with those who have it and letting both sides learn the soft and hard skills that each have to offer. This is how we keep the tradition alive. And as important as it is, it's also one of the coolest parts of the job when you see it happening right in front of you. Big shoutout to these guys for working together to install a slotted well screen, ensuring our customers well remains open and operating at peak efficiency. #WellDrilling #Tradition #Teamwork #SupportTheTrades

Tonight I cleaned the coils under my fridge, and it dusted off an old lesson. As I went to screw the panel back on, I made the classic mistake of tightening 3 of the screws too far so that the panel was no longer aligned with the 4th and final screw. I had to then undo some of the work to redo it in a way that worked. How does this translate to our teams? We have to be cognizant of the interconnection of our teams that requires us to bring everyone along when we’re making changes. If we focus too heavily on efficiency and speed, we risk doubling our work and ending up less efficient. To quote a former manager of mine, “sometimes slower is faster.” If you’ve got important projects and changes in your organization, make sure you’re reflecting on the balance of speed and efficiency, and remember to bring your whole crew with you.

Normand Pacific "We, the crew of Normand Pacific, commit to always look after each other" What does SIFO mean to the crew? SIFO - Solstad Incident Free Operations is the safety mindset behind the way we work, which can be broken down into four guiding principles: 1. Look out for each other 2. Take the time to understand the task and use STEPBACK to manage the hazards in every task 3. Choose to follow the safety rules and procedures 4. Speak up and stop the job if you see something unsafe In Solstad Offshore and on our vessel, we care about our shipmates. We believe in looking out for each other, to make sure that everybody stays safe. #SIFO #SolstadIncidentFreeOperations #SolstadOffshore #SolstadCARES
