Inspire inclusion. Inspire inclusion. Inspire inclusion. Inspire inclusion. Inspire inclusion. Inspire inclusion. It means being able to have equal opportunities as all my colleagues. Inclusion in the workplace to me means that I can feel confident and inspired each day and knowing that I have a voice that will be heard. Inclusion is people in the workplace having the same opportunities as each other, regardless of who they are and where they've come from. But not only that, we're actually celebrated for our differences, and our backgrounds, and our contexts, and it's actually an exciting thing rather than a thing that holds us back or creates a barrier. Inclusion is the respect I received about my different cultural background. I feel very strongly about equality for women in the workplace, and I do see that in Cashies, and we have a number of women that are in decision-making roles. Inclusion to me is a safe workplace where everyone's opinions are valued with no judgement. Being part of the Cashies team, and my voice being heard, and respected by all. Having access and being able to gain the same as everybody else. Feeling included in the bigger picture. Feeling seen and heard within the company. When everyone's included, everyone wins. Know my ideas and opinion are taken seriously. To me, inclusion means being able to have a fun yarn with the guys out the back without feeling discriminated. I feel like it means to not feel discriminated at a workplace, to feel appreciated and to have a broad understanding of different cultures, especially as a woman as well, as a Black woman, I feel like definitely having, not to be like discriminated against, to be treated the same way.
