2024 was a difficult year for our CPR community. In May our beloved founding executive director, Suzanne Delbanco, lost her four-year battle with cancer. Her family, the CPR staff, and many of you were deeply affected by her passing. As a tribute to Suzanne and her legacy we have put together the video below. We invite you, in the spirit of Suzanne, to share something you are grateful for in the comments below. We all would have walked through walls for her, but she just broke them down for us.
I am grateful for Suzanne's friendship and kind spirit. She was a person with a passion for improving and changing healthcare and with great finesse. I appreciate how she helped others without expecting something in return. I am grateful for her words of wisdom when we were looking to operationalize our internal processes at SVEF.
Truly the best boss ever and a beloved friend who I miss everyday. Suzanne inspires me to be a better person, to rise above, to take the high road and to appreciate the little things. For this I am grateful.
I’m devastated to hear of Suzanne’s passing! She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed. (I worked with Suzanne when she was leading The Leapfrog Group in DC and learned so much from her.)
I am grateful for the culture Suzanne built at CPR. A culture that Guy D'Andrea, Andrea Caballero, Ryan Olmstead, Kathy Flock, Kevin Han and I continue to uphold. I am grateful to have known Suzanne, professionally and personally, and I am grateful for making it through 2024 and am ready for what's next!

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Suzanne over the years and for the inspiration she gave me and still gives me today in all I do professionally and personally!
An excellent mission and a genuine person

1wI wouldn’t be where I am today without Suzanne. Her mentorship, investment in my growth, and the countless opportunities she provided for learning have been truly unparalleled. As this tribute so clearly shows, her influence extends far beyond me—she has had a profound and lasting impact on so many individuals and on the health care system as a whole.
