🌟 At CATCH (Community Action to Create Hope), our mission is to empower young people and foster optimism through a range of supportive programmes and initiatives. While we do this daily, we recently outlined six core strands that show how we create hope: 🌱 Planting Hope: We begin by sowing the seeds of positivity and possibility in young minds. 🌿 Nurturing Hope: Through guidance and support, we help these seeds grow, providing the tools and encouragement needed. 🌸 Blossoming Hope: As confidence and skills develop, we watch our young people bloom, ready to take on new challenges. 🌳 Rooting Hope: We ensure these new strengths are firmly rooted, giving them stability and resilience. 🌾 Harvesting Hope: We celebrate achievements and milestones, recognising the hard work and dedication of our young community. 🌟 Reseeding Hope: Finally, we encourage our young people to share their experiences and inspire others, creating a cycle of hope that continually grows and spreads. Together, we create a sustainable framework for empowering young people to reach their full potential and make a positive impact in the world. Let's continue to plant, nurture, and harvest hope, ensuring a brighter future for all. 🌟 #CreateHope #EmpowerYouth #CommunityAction #Inspiration #CATCH

Did you know . . . our goal isn't to work with a community perpetually? From the start, our approach is to have community members take the lead in reversing poverty and restoring the environment. Then, in a few years, they will sustain their success without Plant With Purpose. And it's working! As community action and leadership increase> Plant With Purpose intervention decreases! A great example of this is the Huay Lu watershed in Thailand which graduated last year. Learn about how communities graduate: https://loom.ly/Osd3vHA

Young people show a high level of concern for the issues in their environment. The actions taken by the participants of the Champion Ambassadors Project (CAP) are concrete evidence of their commitment to addressing the climate crisis. On July 9, 2024, they organized a social event at an orphanage in Bogor. During this event, they shared insights and raised awareness about the climate crisis with the community in an engaging manner. They utilized an educational game which was played together with the children at the orphanage. The CAP participants initiated and designed this activity in collaboration with the Bogor City Children's Forum. This event was a continuation of the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Bootcamp that took place on May 30, 2024 <https://lnkd.in/g4jHDQHK> as part of the Champion Ambassador project that is being implemented in the City and Regency of Bogor to support children and youth in self-development to reach their potentials and aspirations. Let's continue to take actions, even the small ones, to protect our planet and future generation so they can grow healthy and safe. All our actions for sure will impact and contribute to the life of our children. #ClimateAction #ChampionAmbassadorsProject #EnvironmentalAwareness #ClimateCrisis #SocialEmotionalLearning #ChildFundIndonesia #ClimateEducation Husnul Maad Mitra Tobing Pritania Savitri ivan tagor Talitha Messakh Rudy Sukanto

🌍 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 🌱 What if we could give every refugee child the tools to not just survive, but thrive? Imagine a world where safe learning environments, community engagement, and sustainable livelihoods come together to create lasting impact. By fostering social-emotional learning (SEL) in safe spaces, we’re helping children develop resilience, emotional intelligence, and social skills that will serve them for a lifetime. These skills are more than just important—they’re essential for overcoming the challenges these children face. Through child clubs, we’re giving kids a chance to explore critical thinking, environmental awareness, and community involvement. These aren’t just lessons; they’re the building blocks for a better, more connected world. And by empowering parents with resources to practice sustainable agriculture, we’re helping entire families gain food security, improve income, and strengthen their community ties—all while embedding SEL in daily life.
