National Contracts Manager at Catercall Ltd

This is the Monday we should be posting the images of our Fantastic Christmas party, unfortunately, we had the misfortune to book with Bestpartiesever. On a weekend when the nation was gripped with Storm Warnings, what could possibly go wrong  with a party hosted in a temporary structure ? Well ! by the hosts Risk Assessment protocol, Nothing.   with common sense in short volume and after 2 evacuations, at 9pm Storm Darragh had the last laugh. An absolute shambles of management lacking any form of communication, ketteling hundreds of party gowers out into a storm, no transport, no weather protection,  Unbelievably 36 hours on still no apology, no correspondence from the organisers. Things are not looking good for our investment. So watch this space.  I am ashamed to share an industry with these faceless muppets, who incidentally have 14 venues and approx. 98 events booked over the two week Christmas period, Revenue in the multi millions and an absolute S### Show of Public Relations, and damage limitation communication. All Thoughts welcome.  #bestpartiesever

Don’t forget the security fighting with the party goers - they ran out of soft drinks and Prosecco at one point and no seating for the vulnerable in the holding room 😠

They ran out of common sense too, to even think it would of been possible hold an event in such conditions with the weather being how it was. They should have called it off prior to everyone getting there. Yes, we would of been disappointed. However, surely someone has to make difficult decisions at difficult times. Not when they have no choice but to cancel it last minute. They were well aware of the weather and i really sense it was premeditated to get everyone there to then let everyone down so that they then have a reason to blame the weather solely without consequence of them losing out financially. It will be interesting to hear the response…

Exceptionally disappointing to be told it was cancelled, then not cancelled, only to be forced out mere minutes later. Hundreds of guests had dressed up, invested time and effort, only to be left stranded in the storm without any communication, support, or basic courtesy. It’s a complete failure in planning, management, and decency.
