#gracedews November Theme: Gratitude Journaling: Remembering His Goodness Week Four: A Heart of Thanksgiving Beloved brothers and sisters, As we come to the final week of our gratitude journey, let’s reflect on the transformative power of having a heart of thanksgiving. Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to give thanks to God, not only for the blessings we receive but for the spiritual renewal that comes when we embrace gratitude as a way of life. A heart of thanksgiving is not just a response to God’s goodness; it is a reflection of a life aligned with His will. It draws us closer to God, fills us with peace, and renews our minds, allowing us to experience His presence more fully. Thanksgiving in Scripture: The Bible is filled with exhortations to give thanks to God. Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” This passage reminds us that thanksgiving is our entry point into God’s presence. When we come before Him with a grateful heart, we open ourselves to His love and grace in deeper ways. In 1 Chronicles 16:34, we are told, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” Thanksgiving is an acknowledgment of God's enduring goodness, and it shifts our focus from our circumstances to His eternal nature. Cultivating Gratitude; A Heart of Thanksgiving Friends, let's take a moment to reflect on our journey. Remember when we had nothing? When we prayed fervently for breakthroughs in our careers, relationships, health, and families? God answered those prayers, didn't He? But let's be honest, it's easy to forget those moments of desperation and become ungrateful in our pursuit of more. We get caught up in the cycle of wanting and striving, neglecting the One who blessed us. Today, let's intentionally shift our focus. Let's look back and remember God's faithfulness. Let's offer Him the one thing He desires most - our worship. God doesn't need our wealth or success, but our heartfelt gratitude. Psalm 100:4-5 reminds us: "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name." As we cultivate gratitude, we: 1.Strengthening our faith 2.Deepen our relationship with God 3.Find contentment in His provision 4.Inspire others with our testimony Let's remain grateful for God's banner of love over us. Take a moment going forward to: 1. Reflect on your journey and God's faithfulness. 2. Write down 3 things you're thankful for. 3. Share your gratitude with someone. 4. Offer a prayer of thanksgiving. Let gratitude be the soundtrack of our lives. May our hearts overflow with praise, honour, and worship to our loving God.

**The Power of Thanksgiving** Today, as I listened to my pastor speak on Thanksgiving, my heart resonated deeply with the message. One key lesson stood out: *never compare your journey to others.* Life unfolds in seasons, and when it’s your time, nothing can stop the blessings God has in store for you (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Thanksgiving is more than gratitude—it's a spiritual currency that speeds up answered prayers. When we pray with joy, a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), and offer genuine thanksgiving, it results in praise. And when praise goes up, God's presence comes down (Psalm 22:3). God works wonders in the midst of praise. It attracts His divine presence, and where God is, goodness and mercy follow (Psalm 23:6). Today’s Good News 🙏🏽🙌🏽💃🏽 As we embrace the dawn of a new day, let us ponder the profound message found in 1 Samuel 12:24z. These words, spoken by Samuel to the people of Israel, urge us to reflect on the great things that God has done for us. They serve as a gentle reminder to pause and consider the countless blessings, provisions, and miracles that have been woven into the fabric of our lives by the hand of our loving Creator. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to overlook the many ways in which God has been at work in our lives. Yet, when we take a moment to intentionally reflect on His faithfulness, we are filled with gratitude and awe. From the gift of salvation to the countless answered prayers and the small miracles that often go unnoticed, God's fingerprints are evident throughout our journey. As we meditate on His goodness, our hearts overflow with thanksgiving and praise. As we embark on this new day, let us carry with us a spirit of gratitude and reverence for the God who has done great things for us. May we approach each moment with an awareness of His presence and a heart full of thanksgiving. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 . . Common sense is a basic human ability to perceive, understand,and judge things or ideas shared by or common to nearly all people. Common sense is ordinary good sense, and it keeps us from doing foolish or hurtful things. However, We basically use prayer to drag God into matters and that's why the power of prayer kicks in at the point of our weakness, at helpless times. ¶𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 J𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 G𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 G𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 G𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 G𝘰𝘥.¶ →It tells us not to go for a mile walk outdoors without a cloth on. →It tells us not to buy something we cannot afford. →It tells us to eat when hungry. →It helps us differentiate our right from the left, and so on. Prayer and common sense can be used together to make good decisions and have sound judgment. Common sense is God-given free natural intelligence. It comes with birth and with life experience. Prayer is not an enemy of common sense. Prayer changes us, prepares us, and helps us see what yet can be revealed to come to pass. So often, many people pray, and their prayer request is separated from the response they are looking for. E get why❕ It is a beautiful thing when common sense is applied to our prayers. As you pray, put yourself in a position where God can answer your prayers through you. If you want your life to run smoothly, you need to use good sense and sound judgment on practical matters. THANKSGIVING A REMARKABLE ASSET. We were recreated by God to live a valuable and remarkable life. A sign can be defined as what YOU look at to get to somewhere. At redemption God has made us a sign, miracle and a wonder to our world. Receiving Jesus Christ, is becoming what He has called us to be - A RESULT ORIENTED LIFE. Redemption has made us not to have a better yesterday, for the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 Life keeps being better day by day from glory to glory. But our value for thanking God, praising God and appreciating Him for what He has done for us, where we are and where we are going is what guarantees OPERATING in the SUPERNATURAL. Life is our most valuable privilege and is not measured by our possession but by our walk with God. Those who have value for life have value for God. Our value for God is what determines a life of signs, miracles and wonders. The Supernatural life is rooted in God and living a life of thanksgiving and praise on to God is regarding His hand in our affairs always. Our victory in life is guaranteed when thanksgiving, appreciation and praise is in place. Thanksgiving Eve Devotional Wednesday It is not hard to find someone who will give support to the powerful, attention to the famous, notice to the remarkable, or recognition to the accomplished. Virtually everyone is willing to jump on the bandwagon of some well-known, talented, or beautiful person. But God gives encouragement to the faint. He gives strength to the exhausted. He does not join the crowds hurrying after celebrities; he seeks out the broken-hearted and the overlooked and gives them the greatest honor imaginable -- his attention and his love. This is not because God is a cosmic talent-scout, finding the individual diamonds in the many roughs throughout the world. It is to those who truly have no merit, who can stake no claim to his assets, who have no might that he sends reinforcements of strength and provision. It is God's grace, not our value, that draws him to hurting, helpless humanity. While this is humbling -- even humiliating -- to realize, it is also liberating and invigorating. We can let all our collected claims of good works and inherent worth fall around our feet as we reach out to a God who only heals the sick, who only mends the broken, who only gives strength to the powerless. How do you see yourself? It doesn't matter how others might describe you; perhaps they even consider you among the great, the mighty, the successful. But are you broken-hearted and helpless before the Lord? If so, then prepare for a strength infusion from the most High himself.

Hence S. T. Ludwig clarifies, “Worry and faith are incompatible. If your faith is strong, you need not worry. If it was weak, worrying won't help.” Moreover, Jesus said, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat and the body more than raiment?”Since God cannot lie, worrying about the necessities of life is worthless. Worrying makes you an unbeliever and hinders you from receiving and enjoying the promises of God (See James 1:6-8). God who provides for birds and clothes the lilies will take care of you. He will supply all you need, irrespective of the challenges in the world. You have nothing to worry about as a child in God's kingdom. The cure for anxiety is praying, supplicating and thanksgiving in all things. PRAYER: My God, cure me of unbelief, in Jesus’ name. CHALLENGE: Nothing to worry about
