Many think building a website is enough. Most miss the #1 driver of online success: Creating an exceptional online experience. When I started building Kalaniketan.com, the goal was clear: create a seamless, scalable online store that offers an exceptional experience for customers. Building a website isn't enough. Here's why: Creating an exceptional online experience is what truly matters. Many of us have faced this: ↳ Trying to build a site with just pages. ↳ Believing a website alone will attract customers. ↳ Thinking a basic site is all you need. But it's not true. Here’s how I built this website from scratch ↓ 1) Setting Clear Goals → The vision was to deliver a platform that was both user-friendly and regionally customized. Focused on providing the best online shopping experience for a global audience. 2) Tackling Challenges → One of the toughest but most rewarding challenges was working with Magento to implement multi-currency payment options. I also developed a country-specific store module to manage different currencies and tax systems, ensuring a smooth experience for every customer, no matter where they are. 3) Managing Operations → From product uploads and merchandising to managing order handling and shipment processing, I ensured every aspect of the backend ran smoothly for efficient operations. 4) SEO & Social Media → I didn’t stop at building the site; I worked on SEO to boost visibility and managed social media to engage the right audience and drive traffic to the site. 5) Client Collaboration → Collaboration was key. Working closely with the Kalaniketan team, we fine-tuned everything—from customer follow-ups to order processing—to ensure everything was just right. 6) Building for Growth → Designed with scalability in mind, this project was all about creating a foundation that supports Kalaniketan’s future growth. 7) Reflecting the Brand → The final product is more than just a website—it’s a reflection of Kalaniketan’s unique brand. The user-friendly design and seamless experience make it easy for customers to interact and engage with the store. A big thank you to Kalaniketan for trusting me to bring this vision to life. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m excited for what’s next! #Magento #Ecommerce #WebDevelopment #SEO #FreelanceJourney #ClientCollaboration #WebDesign

Content should be at the center of digital commerce. I'm not just talking about blog posts written for the algorithms of search engines. They may help with discoverability. Yet, we also need content making the journey to purchase exciting and enjoyable. We need content providing information, inspiration, and value. We need experiences that are engaging, that don't feel like doing the homework before making a purchase. I put my two cents about chasing the possibilities of engaged eCommerce in a blog post I wrote for Quickfire Digital - Shopify Plus Agency. Thanks for the opportunity Katie S. and Caitlin Telford. 🙌 Here is the link if you'd like to take a look: https://lnkd.in/dew3D5rW #DigitalShopping #ContentDrivenCommerce #eCommerceMarketing

Top 5 Functional Requirements for your Ecommerce site. What's so special about that blog title? From my perspective (as someone writing content that competes with that blog) nothing. However, year after year it's one of the top performing pieces on our site. Now, don't get me wrong, it's got a lot of valuable information. After all, most would agree that: ✅ Speed ✅ Mobile Friendliness ✅ Ease of use in the checkout flow ✅ Personalization ✅ Accessibility are all key requirements for an ecommerce site. But I just can't crack the algorithim and beat it on a consistant basis. Well today, instead of competing against it, I'll add a link to it in the comments. #ecommerce #requirements #pagespeed #mobile #personalization #b2bagency #b2becommerce

One of your easiest CRO tactics is to address rage clicks 😤💥 Rage clicks happen when users repeatedly click on an element out of frustration, typically because it’s not functioning as expected. We've all been there. That one dead link that's kept you from closing a window or moving forward in the purchase causing you to click profusely to no avail. So, why do rage clicks matter? 😡 Identifying User Frustration: Rage clicks highlight points of friction in your store. Maybe a button isn’t clickable, or the layout is confusing. Either way, it’s a red flag for the user experience. 💸 Lost Sales Opportunities: Every rage click is a potential lost sale. If shoppers get frustrated trying to complete an action, they’re more likely to abandon your site altogether. 📈 Improve Conversions: By analyzing rage clicks, you can fix the underlying issues, leading to a smoother experience and higher conversion rates. Tools like MS Clarity, Hotjar | by Contentsquare or @crazyegg make it easy to track these clicks and take action. Don't ignore these subtle cries for help from your users. Identifying and fixing them could be the difference between a conversion and a bounce. #CRO #rageclicks #ecommerce #userexperience #conversionoptimization #Shopify
