🆕 How UK Local Government Pension Schemes Became Major Impact Investors Our CEO and co-founder, Sarah Forster, shares insights from our place-based impact reporting and market shaping work with pioneering local government pension schemes in New Private Markets today. Commenting on the place-based commitments of individual schemes, Sarah notes: "Greater Manchester Pension Fund has had a local investing strategy for 25 years, but they never called it impact investing. Clwyd Pension Fund (Flintshire County Council ) and South Yorkshire Pensions Authority have also had place-based strategies, some of what they invest in now described as impact investing." Norwegian fund manager Odin aims to increase its share of the country’s pension market, its chief executives tell AMWatch. “We envision becoming an established player in the Norwegian pensions market and might consider expanding our portfolio to lead us to this goal,” CIO Alexander Miller says. ODIN Fund Management is one of the largest asset managers in Norway, with 20 funds and an AUM of NOK 110bn (EUR 9.77bn) at the end of 2023.
