For hydrophobic skim coat/wall putty we usually recommend modification with VINNAPAS® 8034 H. Why? As you can see in the graphic below, a dosage between 3% and 4% is enough to reduce capillary water absorption to a level that meets EN 15148 requirements, the stringent European Standard for renders/plasters.
