A big congratulations to the winner of the 2024 CCIB/EY Indigenous Entrepreneur Pitch Competition, Marie St-Gelais of Ashini Consultants. Marie stood out among the 12 other Indigenous entrepreneurs, showcasing her unique storytelling in her pitch. With mentorship from EY’s Tristan Cammaert, Marie refined her pitch and won the finale. The annual competition, organized by the CCIB’s Tools for Indigenous Business (TIB) team and EY, provides a platform for Indigenous entrepreneurs to present their ideas and receive invaluable mentorship. In addition to Marie’s success, Robin Richards of NIBI Envirotech received a special citation from EY, recognizing the significant impact of his company’s work in driving change for communities in Canada. Marie St-Gelais and Tristan Cammaert are pictured at TIB’s Indigenous Business Networking Event, held at the EY Head Office in Toronto.
