Another great event by LawtechUK at Events@No6 in Alie Street, E1 directly opposite my former firm’s office! Memory lane time. Takeaways from today’s event which focused on Tier 1 providers: 👉 great panel reflecting a full house in room and online 👉 plenty of energy and a real focus on improving access to justice from the innovators present 👉 excellent presentations from start-ups: wenup, The Advisers Toolbox LTD and a lesson in how to treat death with the irreverence it deserves from MyGoodbyes (you had to be there!) A cautionary note however: such energy and products enabling citizens and business to realise their rights will lead to more claims being issued in a court system already overwhelmed. In my contribution from the floor I called this the Innovation Irony.
