In the current economic climate, every Dollar spent has to be maximised. Spending money on sending workers on training courses is not a cheap exercise, not just the course itself but the day's wages, the worker not being onsite, the time spent researching the best course for you needs. Therefore maximising the time off site should be well thought out to maximise the outlay. Finally get the official acknowledgement of the course participation. The MOOC “Human Rights Due Diligence and Decent Work” highlighted how principles of international labour standards relate to company operations, how those principles can be most effectively promoted and implemented through Human Right Due Diligence (HRDD), the role of governments and businesses, and how employers’ and workers’ organizations can guide and support such practices.
