Cedars Recovery’s Post

Relationships are a part of life, and healthy relationships are a gift of our recovery efforts. But often in early recovery it can be difficult to differentiate which relationships are aligned with our new way of life. Embracing healthy qualities more closely and consistently can lead to personal growth and satisfaction, making you and those around you happier. Similarly, distancing yourself from unhealthy behaviors can have the same positive effect. Actively changing these behaviors through awareness and thoughtful action is a valuable recovery process that yields significant emotional benefits. At Cedars we believe in connection, recovery and healing for everyone. An essential part of this is building relationships with our staff, alumni, the people we serve, and like-minded organizations. Which is why we're especially proud to be part of the Betty Ford Foundation's Patient Care Network. Working together, we are able to change the story for generations to come.
