Winter 2022/23 was a moment of crisis for the EU energy sector. Governments turned to mass campaigns to reduce demand, especially at peak, and ensure that the most vulnerable consumers could access support measures. The User-Centred Energy Systems TCP by IEA CampaignXchange provided a platform for countries to share their experiences, coordinated by the International Energy Agency (IEA)'s very own Kristina Klimovich, Emma Mooney and Lucas Boehlé. Our latest Policy Brief is a quick read on what we learned from this upturn in campaigning activity? Explore our website https://lnkd.in/eGx9nvbz to dig deeper. It was enlightening to participate in the #NationalAcademies Water Science and Technology Board (WSTB) Spring meeting on the "Effect of the Energy Transition on Water Resources". A key takeaway is the current Energy-Water-Carbon R&D and policies are largely operating in silos, despite their intrinsic interconnections. There is so much to understand and much work to be done synergistically. Check out the full recording: https://lnkd.in/dW8Si4yY
