If you are going to invest in a company that produces an Ag biological - row crops, vegetables, turf, etc. - please dive into their go to market strategy. If the founder or CEO says they plan to sell directly to the farmer, walk away. It means they don't understand the infrastructure of Ag, they don't have the industry connections needed for commercialization, or they haven't truly thought through their commercialization strategy.
