As a T24 Business Analyst, once I receive a change request from the client, my approach typically involves the following steps: 1. Understanding the Request: Carefully analyze the client's change request to understand the scope and requirements. 2. Proof of Concept (PoC): Create a proof of concept (PoC) to validate the feasibility of the proposed change. This allows me to ensure that the solution can be integrated without affecting the existing system. 3. Coordination with the Tech Team: Collaborate closely with the technical team to discuss the requirements and ensure that the necessary changes can be made in the system, considering the impact on both the new functionality and the existing solution. 4. Designing and Implementing Changes: Work with the tech team to design and implement the changes in the T24 system, ensuring that there are no negative impacts on the current solution or workflows. 5. Testing: Once the changes are implemented, perform thorough testing to ensure everything works as expected and that no unintended consequences have occurred in the existing setup. 6. Delivery to Client: After confirming that the solution is stable and meets the client's requirements, deliver the updated solution to the client, ensuring that the implementation is successful and the client is satisfied. As a #Temenos #T24 consultant, I've encountered my fair share of fascinating #banking scenarios. But there was one mystery that never failed to puzzle Me: the disappearing cash at the ATM! 😮💸 It's happened to all of us at some point – your hard earned money gets deducted from your account and no money comes out! Today, let's dive into this enigma and shed some light on what really happens when this happens. ✨🔍 The #ATM is a machine after all! thus, some of the ATM withdrawal issues could be anything of technical glitches, communication errors, power problems or cash jamming within the machine. But no need to panic as most of us do, calm down, report the issue to the customer support and let your bank take care of the rest. 🔍 Investigation: As soon as you report the incident to the bank's customer support, they initiate an investigation into the matter. They gather all necessary details and transaction records to determine the cause of the issue. ✅ Verification: The bank verifies your claim by reviewing your account statement and transaction records. They ensure that the ATM transaction reflects the deduction of funds without a corresponding cash withdrawal. 🔧 Resolution Process: Based on their findings, the bank takes prompt action to resolve the issue. This can include crediting the missing amount back to your #account, initiating a reimbursement process, or conducting further investigations if necessary. 💬 Communication: Throughout the resolution process, the bank keeps you informed and maintains clear #communication. They provide updates on the progress and address any concerns or queries you may have. Their dedicated customer support team is there to guide you through the necessary steps. 🔄 Internal Controls: Most banks have robust internal controls and monitoring systems in place to identify and address issues with ATMs. They continuously review and enhance these systems to ensure smooth operations and prevent similar incidents in the future. 📞 Remember, if you encounter such an incident, reach out to your bank's customer support as soon as possible. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field - Additional certifications or qualifications in banking or finance are a plus. - 7+ years of experience as a T24 Functional Consultant/ Business Analyst, preferably in a banking or financial services environment, with a strong understanding of core banking processes and functionalities. - In-depth knowledge of Temenos T24 banking software, including experience in configuring and customizing T24 modules to meet business requirements. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective T24 solutions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Close of business is crucial for any 💹 core banking system. The most common issue you might face is the COB getting stuck for known or unknown reasons. When we come across such situations, what should we do? As T24 consultants, we might have run and monitored COB at certain stages of our careers. Based on our real-time experience, let us give you a few tricks for handling such situations. + Check for USER corruption What happens if the TSA.SERVICE user for COB is set to INPUTTER. If the USER record is corrupted, the entire COB will crash for a while. We won't be able to log in or perform any activity with the INPUTTER user. So, we must avoid resetting/using INPUTTER users at any cost, or the bank has to use a dedicated USER in TSA.SERVICE. + Check COMO files First, we need to find out which job is causing the issue, and then we need to check the corresponding COMO to find out what is happening.
