There are always problems when commissioning and starting up completely new equipment, and optimize it until it can produce a homogenous high quality product in a consistent way. And then in the battery industry we also need to wait until we also see the cell cycling results. Now this is all done, and we are very happy to finally be able to send out a new and higher quality product to several of the world's leading battery producers from our very first and new mass production reactor.

Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) (GMG) has launched SUPER G, a graphene slurry that can be used to improve the performance of lithium-ion batteries. The company said this “breakthrough” product, developed over three years, offers significant improvements in energy density, charge-discharge rates, and battery lifespan by offering superior electrical conductivity and reduced ionic resistance. SUPER G is produced through GMG's proprietary graphene production system and tailored to integrate seamlessly into lithium-ion battery cathodes or anodes with a minimal weight impact 0.5% to 2%. Mattiq has announced a strategic partnership with Heraeus Precious Metals to develop and commercialize advanced #electrocatalyst materials for #greenhydrogen production. The companies will collaborate to engineer low-#iridium #catalysts, aiming to significantly reduce the use of this rare and critical raw material for proton exchange membrane (PEM) water #electrolyzer manufacturing before expanding into other innovative electrochemical solutions.   In their collaboration, Mattiq and Heraeus Precious Metals will accelerate the traditional R&D-to-commercialization timeline, rapidly advancing low-iridium catalysts from prototype to industrial-scale solutions. Today we had final review meeting in the EU FET Open project SiComb My focus in project as SME partner ALMINICA AB was on transfer of knowledge and how to position in larger context than the technology itself. Now I am part of advanced materials EU proposals for emerging technologies with that impact and exploitation as added value. It started with alignment of technology with smart specialisation strategy by European Commission for regional economic growth using the entrepreneurial discovery process. That motivates a realistic next step, or relevant supply chain. If you have that in your EU project, your impact relevance is more realistic. During last two years I have focussed on understanding how digitalization can be the long-term competitiveness. It starts with sharing data and big impact comes with how to tokenize the semiconductor (silicon carbide) wafers. #siliconcarbide #tokenization #future #manufacturing #wafers

Thanks to Martin Müller Forschungszentrum Jülich IEK 14 Electrochemical Process Engineering for inviting me to give a talk titled: Batteries, Supercapacitors, Hybrids...Everything is better with Graphene. I came full circle because this is the institute, I wrote my diploma thesis on fuel cells in 1996!! Nanotechnology development company Dotz Nano Ltd. has made its first commercial sale of its proprietary in-product tagging solution, DotzShield, to a U.S. based provider of oilfield technology to the oil and gas sector. The order marks a pivotal milestone for Dotz in its commercialisation journey, according to an announcement, validating the company’s solution for real-time corrosion inhibitor (CI) utilisation which protects pipes and equipment against corrosion.
