May is a crucial month dedicated to raising awareness about mental and maternal health, particularly significant for Latina mothers. As a Latina who has experienced postpartum depression and anxiety, I understand the stigma attached to mental health within our culture. However, it's vital to break this silence and embrace openness about our struggles. By sharing our experiences, we can create a supportive environment that encourages seeking help and destigmatizes mental health challenges. This month serves as a reminder that self-care and seeking support are not signs of weakness but acts of strength and resilience within our community. #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #maternalhealth #mentalhealth
