This is worth a quick watch and listen 👀👂 Ben talks about how we can do something about those areas that might not be our most energising underlying qualities ✨ This is what we do in Strengths Coaching. Find out those areas that might cause you drain and figure out what to do about them! 🙌 The real magic comes in realising that we don’t need to focus on those areas that don’t impact us. Much more effective to be exploring how these areas of drain impact our life. If they don’t, we don’t focus on them. This prevents overwhelm and spending too much time on the negative, which in itself is draining. Being specific about what impacts us and how, is key 🔑 We also drill down on how we can use those underlying qualities that truly energise us to improve our experience and application of those areas of drain 💥 Result - that fire in your belly is ignited 🔥 If you want to ignite the fire get in touch 💫 💜DM in here 💜call 07771970488 💜email me helen@fortestrengths.co.uk 💜visit www.fortestrengths.co.uk #discoverthedrainers #ignitethefire #trulyenergise #fortestrengthsltd

I know that im quick to point out my faults. I focus on those. Im sometimes afraid to look at my qualities. I feel my weaknesses overshadow my strengths. So, what do i do? I work on my weaknesses. I try to think more positively, especially about myself. I work on the things i dont like about myself. I try to be on time. I try to be neat. I try to not make small things bigger than they are. Im trying each day to resort to the positive rather than the negative. I also try to point out my strengths We all, each one of us has our faults and quirks. But, we have qualities and strengths. They are greater than we realize. We go through our lives playing them down. We often dont apply our greatest qualities to our days. They go left unrealized and unattended to. They stay buried down within ourselves. Except for those of us who pursue our interests and what makes us happy. Usually when you set goals and work to attaining them, they require your strengths and qualities and the active application of them to fulfill our desires, reach our goals and materialize our dreams. I find it better to accentuate the positives within myself and look to my strengths , rather than allow my negatives to hold me back, in order to pursue what i want to change my life for the better. I find it best to state my negatives to myself. Work on them daily. Focus on my strengths. Say them out loud to myself. Reinforcce my positives. Apply them each day. Basically create who and what i want to be.

💡 Forcing a new culture on acquired businesses could be an expensive mistake. When a business is acquired, there's often pressure to homologate cultures into a unified identity. A 'good' example is what happened to Reebok, acquired by Adidas for 3,8B$ in 2006 and sold for 2,5B$ in 2021. 💸 Businesses thrive on their unique DNA and culture. Instead of homogenizing, what if we focused on preserving and nurturing the distinct cultures that made them successful? In the latest Sports+Outdoor Mentors episode, I chatted with Mike Seaman, founder and CEO of Raccoon Media Group. Among many other topics, Mike shares why embracing diverse cultures post-acquisition isn't just good leadership—it's good business.
