UNITED NATIONS DAY 24th October 2024 Theme; "CULTIVATING A CULTURE OF PEACE" Peace is more than the absence of conflict; it is a culture we must nurture through dialogue, mutual respect, and the shared pursuit of justice and equality. Cultivating peace begins within our communities, by promoting tolerance, protecting human rights, and standing against discrimination and violence. At the global level, it requires nations to work together, building bridges and addressing the root causes of conflict poverty, inequality, and exclusion. On this special day, let us recommit ourselves to creating a world where peace thrives in every corner, ensuring a future marked by solidarity, hope, and compassion for all. Together, we can make this vision a reality.
