Great timing by Barb Allen with this study, as OSHA has finally (after 13 years of trying) published a very simple change to the PPE in Construction regulation to simply state the obvious... PPE Must Fit Properly. This simple change, which largely effects women in #construction, has been opposed by industry groups like AGC at every turn. If this doesn't highlight the fact that the challenge is real, I don't know what does. Please read Barb's post and help out by completing the survey. #alwaysbelearning #constructionishard

This year's Women in Construction survey sought input from an additional cohort – women who are interested in joining the construction industry – asking what challenges they expect to face. The responses outlined in the survey report, reiterated that considerable steps need to be taken to create a welcoming work environment for women. Encouragingly, despite these challenges, the survey results reveal that many women working in the industry see real opportunities for career progression in construction.
