Great timing by Barb Allen with this study, as OSHA has finally (after 13 years of trying) published a very simple change to the PPE in Construction regulation to simply state the obvious... PPE Must Fit Properly. This simple change, which largely effects women in #construction, has been opposed by industry groups like AGC at every turn. If this doesn't highlight the fact that the challenge is real, I don't know what does. Please read Barb's post and help out by completing the survey. #alwaysbelearning #constructionishard

This year's Women in Construction survey sought input from an additional cohort – women who are interested in joining the construction industry – asking what challenges they expect to face.    The responses outlined in the survey report, reiterated that considerable steps need to be taken to create a welcoming work environment for women.    Encouragingly, despite these challenges, the survey results reveal that many women working in the industry see real opportunities for career progression in construction.    Read the full report here 📄 https://lnkd.in/gQytvgJ9
