Merry christmas and happy holidays! Around 50 young artists put their imaginations to paper in response to the theme of this year's staff children’s drawing contest: “Winter wonderland - what does yours look like?” We'd like to thank everyone who took part! The winning drawing for this year's Christmas card was created by Christoph (8 years old), whose mother works in the Operations Europe department at our Marktredwitz site. We wish everyone a happy and relaxing holiday season!

You know how you walk into an art gallery, and every piece, brushstroke, color choice, and composition tells a story? 🎨 Just like an artist carefully selects their palette to create a masterpiece, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀. They set the tone for the overall picture. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩'𝙨 𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙢𝙖: While we can't control how others interpret our art, we can: - 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🎯 - 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺𝘀 🔄 - 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻🤔 So, as you start this week, ask yourself: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙢 𝙄 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜? 🤔 Let’s take a moment to be intentional about the “art” we’re putting out. Each meeting, conversation, and email adds a new layer to our personal canvas. So here’s to making bold strokes, staying true to our colors, and creating impressions that last. ✨ 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Connect with Black Professionals Ireland and let's create a gallery of impactful impressions! 🔗https://lnkd.in/endpY-z5 #Professionalism #FirstImpressions #CareerGrowth #BlackProfessionalsIreland #MondayMotivation

At Pollen Creatives, my clients aren't just clients – they're partners in a shared vision. 💡🐝💫 As Nicky from VELT Designs beautifully articulated, I treat each brand I work with as if it were my own. From understanding their ethos to crafting content that resonates authentically, I immerse myself in their world to ensure every message reflects their unique identity. Selectivity is key; I only collaborate with brands I believe in wholeheartedly. Nicky's testimony reaffirms the impact of this approach – it's about more than just managing social media; it's about fostering genuine connections and nurturing brands to thrive. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of their journey. Together, we're not just creating content; we're building enduring partnerships that drive success! #contentstrategist #digitalmarketing #socialmediamanagement #organiccontent #creativeagency #pollencreatives

Reason 1093736849583027 why I love my job! 🥹🌸💫 I had the pleasure of spending a day with Nicky, the mastermind and artist behind VELT Designs, capturing some breathtaking content and soaking up the beauty of nature. But the real treat? After wrapping up filming, Nicky invited me to join her for some flower printing, it felt like pure meditation. Grateful for the purpose-driven work and blossoming relationships that have come from Pollen Creatives! ** 🖼️💐🎨 Psst... Nature lovers, mark your calendars for Nicky's preserved flower art making workshop on June 8th (Cape Town) – https://lnkd.in/dAh75FsT

There is liberation in limitations. Like many creative folks, I have sometimes had to work with pint-sized budgets, short timelines and tight constraints. But the silver lining is that the infinite array of options suddenly shrinks and the corners start to fill in on that blank canvas. You are forced to be resourceful, to find inventive ways just to pull it off. I've run into this countless times on client work as well as in my personal creative projects. A couple of years ago, I challenged myself to compose a song using office supplies as my primary instruments. Rubber bands, binder clips and cardboard boxes transformed into guitars. Printer paper, pencils and sharpeners became percussion. It was challenging, frustrating, limiting—and yet oddly inspiring. You can hear the results here: https://lnkd.in/gT8eVQ8M So the next time you feel boxed in on a project, try asking yourself: How can these limitations help liberate my creative process?

Celebrating History: The Art of Commemorative Stamps Commemorative stamps are tiny works of art that capture significant moments in history, from royal jubilees to groundbreaking international exhibitions. Each stamp tells a unique story, often highlighting important figures, cultural milestones, or historical events that have shaped our world. Collecting these stamps is not just about the beauty of the designs; it's about preserving and celebrating our collective memory. As you explore the fascinating world of commemorative stamps, consider starting your own collection! They are both accessible and affordable, making them perfect for beginners. Visit local post offices, stamp shows, or online shops to discover stamps that resonate with you. You might find pieces that spark your curiosity or connect you with a particular event or movement. Whether you display them in a dedicated album or use them to send heartfelt letters, commemorative stamps link us to our past while creating a tangible connection to the present. #CommemorativeStamps #Philately #StampCollecting #HistoryThroughStamps #ArtOnStamps #RoyalJubilee #InternationalExhibitions #PostalArt #CollectibleStamps #CulturalHeritage #StampCollection #RareStamps #Collectibles #StampLovers #InvestInHistory #CollectorCommunity #VintageCollectibles #stamp #stamps #worldstamps

Good enough software One of the great chapters from the book "The Pragmatic Programmer" that I have read. Just like its name, the chapter talks about a mindset in the product development process. After a continuous period of researching and developing new product, our team has finally understood and experienced the correctness of this philosophy. With limited resources, we always have to consider each feature of the product. You cannot know what a perfect product is for users, but you can define what done means and need to know when to stop. Our team usually lists ideas and tasks, prioritizes them, finalizes the plan, then implements and releases them to users. After receiving feedback, that's when we continue to improve and make the product better, aiming for perfection. Our product has completed development in phase 2 and is about to launch to customers with a lot of new updates. Let's Celebrate is a comprehensive platform designed to help brides and grooms plan, manage task and their budget, handle guest lists, and connect with wedding planners to ensure a smooth wedding experience. Website: https://letscelebrate.vn Facebook: https://lnkd.in/g8VdSeQq P/s: If wedding planners are interested, please inbox me or our Facebook page. Our product will support your work, increase your performance, and it's completely free of charge.
