😧 Lawyers rarely need more time. More often than not, we just failed to focus with the time we had. If you have too many tasks at once, hire/delegate. Focus only on the tasks you truly add value to individually. If you have too many cases, refer some out/learn to say no. Clients are usually happier and cases often get better the more you focus on them. Lack of focus breeds delay and poor performance, which leads to settlements that may feel like a win but are often little more than participation trophies because either money was left on the table, an angle missed, or it took far longer than needed to resolve. Clients deserve better, and lawyers who focus>time do better for clients. Nobody is perfect, but be honest with yourself and strive to do better. Rest assured, it's better than the alternative.
