I almost never started TruNorth Advisors. After leaving my last engagement, I was in a dark place—depressed, questioning my value, and feeling like I didn’t belong. My capabilities and intentions were doubted, and I truly believed I wasn’t wanted. At my lowest, I told a friend I’d just join a company, “work until I’m not useful, and die.” That conversation changed everything. My friend didn’t let me sit in that mindset. He forced me to confront my worth and reminded me of the value I bring to the table. Fast forward to today: TruNorth Advisors serves over 40 clients across the U.S., and we’ve built something I’ve dreamed of for years. A business rooted in integrity, teamwork, and purpose.
