🌍Today, we want to share a recent article on CIC energiGUNE's blog, authored by our Principal Investigator, Eduardo J. Garcia-Suarez. The article provides an insightful update on the #TWICE project (funded by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades and Agencia Estatal de Investigación), which, in line with WASTE2H2, aims to transform transform polyolefinic #plasticWaste into clean #hydrogen and valuable decarbonized material. 🌍 World Recycling Day – A New Era in Waste Management? ♻️ #WhatValueAreYouBuildingForYourChildren? Today is a day dedicated to educating and promoting proper waste segregation. My 6-year-old son treats waste segregation as a completely natural activity (a sign of the times?). However, even now, in the era of Advanced Recycling Technology (ART), waste segregation at home is not only becoming easier but perhaps even unnecessary. 🔬 #Bioelektra utilizes an innovative technology, Advanced Recycling Technology, allowing the acceptance of non-segregated waste. Machines play a crucial role here, tasked with the comprehensive sorting of biomass, glass, plastics, metals, fuels (RDF/SRF), and minerals. ♻️ After processing waste, only 4% of its mass ends up in landfills, and the rest becomes reusable.
