I was pleasantly surprised because we often hear about hiring processes dragging on for weeks. During my call with the recruiter, she mentioned, "You met all the qualifications the team was looking for, so we knew it was an immediate hire." Many teams tend to overcomplicate the process, believing they need 7+ interviews and multiple opinions to make a decision. I believe this stems from a lack of initial alignment within hiring teams on what they truly need. When teams clearly define qualifications upfront, they can confidently move forward with the first or second candidate who meets the criteria, without the need to review hundreds of applications. Quick hiring processes shouldn't be a rarity. 7moSo much truth in this post. Small business owners quickly figure out they are EVERY DEPARTMENT and responsible for EVERYTHING. If you don't have a process or expertise in an area, you have 3 options: 1) DIY with the proper PLANNING and LEARNING 2) BUY it (the expertise) 3) DO THE MINIMUM through guesswork Think about this in terms everyone understands.
