Family: The Silent Pillar Behind Every Success 🌟 Behind every work milestone is a family cheering quietly in the background. They celebrate our wins, stand by us in tough times, and often sacrifice more than we realize. Engagements with families arnt just a visit—it is a connection between work and home, between ambition and the people who fuel it. A Family Day at Work isn’t just a fun idea—it’s a way to: ✨Appreciate the support systems that make success possible. ✨Build a culture where work feels like an extension of family. Show employees that their whole life matters, not ✨just their 9-to-5. Because when families feel valued, professionals feel unstoppable. Does your workplace celebrate families? If not, maybe it’s time to start! #FamilyFirst #WorkplaceCulture #Gratitude #life

In today's dynamic world, the traditional breadwinning model is evolving into something more equitable and inclusive: BREADSHARING - where both partners bring home the dough and knead it together. In a world of dual-career couples, finding balance between work and home isn't a 50/50 split, but it's all about: ➡️ Mutual respect. ➡️ Valuing each other's hustle, TIME, and paid and unpaid contributions to both the office and the household. It's not about striving for a perfect split in duties but rather fostering mutual respect between partners. My favorite way to do this is with #FairPlay. FairPlay is a timesaving solution that makes the unpaid invisible work, visible, is flexible and adaptable to YOUR family's needs, situation, and values, and promotes sharing the MENTAL LOAD in addition to the execution. Most importantly, through our FairPlay at WRK program, it is a system we bring into companies that can immediately be implemented to reduce burnout and stress for their employees. #FairPlay #MyFairIsNotYourFair #Equality #DualCareerCouples #ModernPartnerships #WorkLifeBalance #Family #WorkingParents ~~~~~ 👋 I'm Mary Beth, founder of WRK/360. Our coaching, trainings, and programs support and retain your working parents and caregiving employees from #parentalleave through #eldercare. Learn more! When have you got someone wrong at work? When I first met Angela, I thought we had nothing in common. We’d made our first steps onto the career ladder in Financial Services and were the only two mid-20s women in a traditional, male-dominated office. Picture The Office and you’re nearly there. Think ownership Tippex-ed onto staplers and a heavy dose of inappropriateness. Angela and I should have formed a connection but we didn’t. Cumbrian lover of Hard Rock and The Outdoors vs. Suburban Mancunian Vogue obsessive who thought Converse were appropriate for hill-walking. No mutual ground there! Or so I thought. Then, 3 things happened: 1. An office relocation sat us together, 2. A music convo uncovered a shared love of The Smiths, and; 3. We started to head downstairs for lunch together (Chicken Pot Pie soup at Eat. if you’re asking!) 20 years and far too many conversations about work and life later, the rest is history. As we load our panniers for our annual long-distance bike ride, I’m grateful for whoever sat us together. Here’s to work friends who become best friends …. and overcoming bad first impressions 👏🏻 I’d love to hear your work friendship stories. Who are you grateful for in your career? And more importantly, do they know? If not, tell them! #WorkFriendship #Gratitude #BestFriendsAtWork

In today’s fast-paced work environment, prioritizing mental health is essential for maintaining productivity and overall well-being. Whether you're juggling multiple projects, managing a team, or striving to meet deadlines, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Here are a few strategies to help you take care of your mental health at work: 1. Set Boundaries: Define clear boundaries between work and personal life. This might mean turning off work notifications after hours or taking regular breaks throughout the day to recharge. 2. Manage Stress: Identify stress triggers and develop coping mechanisms, such as mindfulness, deep breathing, or taking short walks to clear your mind. 3. Take Breaks: Breaks are vital for mental rejuvenation. Regularly stepping away from your desk, even for just a few minutes, can improve focus and reduce burnout. 4. Seek Support: Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Many companies offer employee assistance programs (EAPs) or mental health resources. Talking to a colleague or mentor can also provide perspective. 5. Practice Self-Care: Incorporating healthy habits such as proper sleep, regular exercise, and a balanced diet can boost both your physical and mental health. 6. Communicate with Your Employer: If work is taking a toll on your mental well-being, have an open conversation with your supervisor about your workload or expectations. Many companies are open to offering flexibility, whether that’s through remote work, adjusted hours, or additional support. Remember, taking care of your mental health is not just about managing stress but creating a sustainable work-life balance that allows you to thrive in and out of the office.
Today we’re celebrating #WorldMentalHealthDay with joy and movement! 💃🕺 Our employees took a break to dance and prioritize their well-being. #WeAreParsons

Happy Men’s Day! Today is a moment to recognize and celebrate the contributions men make to their families, workplaces, and communities. It’s also a day to reflect on the quiet resilience and strength that many responsible men bring to their roles every single day. Yet, Men’s Day often goes by with little noise or celebration. Perhaps it’s because these contributions are so seamlessly woven into everyday life that they’re not always noticed. But that doesn’t mean they’re any less valuable. Men deserve to be appreciated too. 🙂 This is especially true for men who step into roles that demand extraordinary strength - for instance, independent solo caregivers who carry responsibilities on their shoulders with no option, but to keep going. They don’t look for excuses, just ways to make things work, probably one day at a time! Of course, no single day can truly capture the importance. But today serves as a reminder: let’s take a moment to appreciate the men around us for all that they do, often quietly and without asking for acknowledgment/validations! #HappyMensDay

I had an Intensive with a client yesterday who’s exploring ways to pivot from a more traditional career to entrepreneurship. So I asked her what the most fulfilling aspects of her career have been so far and every example she gave me was work she’d done to make her company’s culture more equitable and just for everyone else. This woman is a powerhouse! She instituted a fair parental leave policy, including PTO for new fathers, and started a mentorship program for kids of color, all while doing the work of her job. Then when I asked her how she defines success, she cited all the same examples she gave when I asked her what she found most fulfilling about her career. It goes to show that as we move through life, our perspective broadens and our definition of success becomes more nuanced. Success is not just about titles, promotions, and tangible markers of success anymore. It’s more about: Work-Life Balance: We value our time more and want seamless harmony between our professional and personal lives. It's not about working endless hours anymore, but more about finding a rhythm that gives us space to enjoy life outside of work. Purpose: We crave a deeper connection to our work. It’s not just about the paycheck, but about feeling fulfilled and knowing that what we do has meaning. We want to wake up excited and passionate about the impact we're making. Helping Others: Our focus has shifted to helping other people. Whether it’s influencing company policy, mentoring, or volunteering, we find joy in making a positive difference in people’s lives. Leaving a Legacy: We think about the mark we want to leave on the world. It’s about creating something lasting, whether it’s a business, a community initiative, or simply being remembered for the good we’ve done. At this stage of our lives, success is about balance, purpose, impact, and legacy. If you're feeling this shift and looking to pivot your career towards something more meaningful, DM me and let’s connect! #MidLifeMotivation #WorkLifeBalance #FindYourPurpose #HelpOthers #LeaveALegacy #CareerPivot #MeaningfulWork
