The liquid molten gold is filled with the steel mold cavity under high pressure and high speed conditions, and the alloy liquid is cooled and solidified into a casting under high pressure. Aluminum alloy die casting parts have the characteristics of light weight, rust prevention, waterproof, and low price. #precisiondiecasting #aluminumalloydiecasting #highprecisiondiecasting #metaldiecasting #diecastingprocess #aerospace

Our foundry team must carefully control the time it takes to produce sand castings. Once the sand mixture has been added to the moulding box, it needs time to harden or set. The outside air temperature can affect the rate at which this process occurs, which can have a negative impact on production times. To address this problem, we adjust the quantity of the catalyst used in the sand mixture for different temperatures. In cold weather conditions, a higher quantity of the catalyst is needed for the sand to set. Conversely, in hot weather, the sand will set at a much quicker rate naturally, so less catalyst is used. Heatmac, Where the Atmosphere matters. The compound layer thickness CLT, also known as the White or ceramic layer. With the process of Nitriding and Nitrocarburizing a compound layer about 5-20 microns is formed, comprising of ε and/or γ' phases. A diffusion zone about 0.15mm-0.8mm thick forms below the compound layer in the case of Nitrocarburizing. The process improves Tribological properties, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, Static and fatigue strength, with absolute minimum distortion to Previously precision machine parts.

Gray Cast Iron (Lamellar Graphite Iron) 🛠️ Cast iron with lamellar graphite, also known as gray cast iron, is one of the most commonly used forms of cast iron. It has a characteristic microstructure in which the carbon is present in the form of graphite lamellae. This structure gives the material specific mechanical and physical properties. Properties: - Good Damping: Absorbs vibrations and noise, ideal for machine beddings. - High Compressive Strength: Suitable for parts under static loads, like cylinders. - Excellent Thermal Conductivity: Effective heat dissipation, beneficial for brakes and engines. - Castability: Easy to cast and mold, cost-efficient production. - Machinability ✂️: Easy to cut and shape, ideal for precise components. Applications: - Automotive Industry: Engine blocks, cylinder heads, brake discs. - Machinery: Machine beddings, gearbox housings, presses. - Construction: Manhole covers, frames for construction equipment. Pros and Cons: - Pros ✅: Excellent damping, high compressive strength, good thermal conductivity, easy to machine. - Cons ❌: Low tensile strength and ductility, brittle and prone to fractures under tensile loads. Gray cast iron is versatile and particularly suitable for applications requiring high compressive strength and good damping. #ligo #livarnagorica #graycastiron #lamellarcastiron #castiron #foundry
