I’m super psyched to share what I’m working on right now—a Leader/Team Assimilation project with two AMAZING teams and their new leaders. 🎉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧: Help each leader build a strong, cohesive, and efficient team from the start. 🚀 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬? Threefold: 𝟏. 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦: Build connection, community, and trust. Think of it as setting the stage for a great team vibe that just happens naturally. 𝟐. 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬: Create team norms and encourage psychological safety, healthy conflict (yes, that’s a thing!), and mutual respect. 𝟑. 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬: Time to roll up our sleeves and tackle those nitty-gritty, transactional questions and pain points so the team can run like a well-oiled machine. We’re achieving these goals in two sessions per team -- The first session is all about team building—getting to know each other, talking about what makes us tick, having open conversations about what builds and breaks trust, and figuring out how we can create a safe and supportive environment. It’s laying the foundation to have the strongest team. 💪 💪 The second session is where we dive into the tactical stuff. I'm designing it this way intentionally -- by building trust and rapport first, we ensure everyone is ready to dive into the “what” with an open mind and a collaborative spirit. I can’t wait to see how these sessions unfold and share the journey with you all. Stay tuned for updates! 𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦? These sessions are 🌟 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 🌟 for getting everyone acclimated, building trust, and setting up for success right from the start. 𝐃𝐌 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞.

🏆 Crafting Championship Teams: The 1LEAD Formula for Success 🚀 In the corporate world, a high-performing team is not just an asset—it's your secret weapon. Research shows that high-performing teams are 50% more productive and 76% more engaged than average teams. However, only 2% of teams achieve high-performance status. This gap in team performance represents not just a missed opportunity, but also a significant competitive disadvantage. At 1LEAD Consulting, Jason Wyatt has developed the "Team Synergy" program to transform groups of individuals into cohesive, high-performing units. We don’t just build teams; we create powerhouses of collaboration and achievement. Here’s how we revolutionize team performance: 1️⃣ **Team Dynamics Assessment:** Identify the unique strengths and challenges within your team. 2️⃣ **Synergy Mapping:** Align individual strengths with team goals for maximum impact. 3️⃣ **Conflict Resolution Mastery:** Turn disagreements into opportunities for growth and innovation. 4️⃣ **Trust-Building Initiatives:** Foster an environment of psychological safety and open communication. 5️⃣ **Performance Amplification Techniques:** Implement systems that consistently elevate team output. 🎯 **Quick Win:** Kickstart your team's journey to high performance with our "Strengths Spotlight" exercise. In your next team meeting, have each member share a colleague’s strength they admire and explain how it contributes to the team’s success. This simple activity boosts morale, increases mutual appreciation, and aligns the team around its collective strengths. Don’t let untapped potential hold your teams back. Let Jason Wyatt and 1LEAD Consulting help you build and lead teams that consistently outperform expectations and drive your organization forward. Ready to transform your teams into high-performing units? Comment "SYNERGY" below, and let's start a conversation about unlocking your team's full potential. #TeamBuilding #HighPerformanceTeams #LeadershipDevelopment #1LEADConsulting #JasonWyatt #OrganizationalExcellence

Here’s the challenge: • With some restructuring, my client has an expanded role and now a more diverse team—some seasoned pros, some less tenured, some newly promoted folks, and some who haven’t worked together before. • There’s a general feeling of underappreciation and a bit of uncertainty about the new leadership. • The leader wants to unite the team without stepping on toes or coming off as a micromanager. • Each team member brings fantastic experience, and while the leader genuinely trusts them to do their jobs well, he senses the team doesn’t believe it. So, the leader reached out to me for help, wanting to kick things off on the right foot with a team building workshop but he wasn’t sure where to start. After a deep dive in our discovery session, we zeroed in on two main focus areas: 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐬. Our goal? Help the team feel appreciated and boost their appreciation for one another through their strengths. We’ll spotlight each person’s individual strengths and the team’s collective power. One of my all-time favorite tools for this is the team strengths grid, aka 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭. This is the moment I am most excited for: I unveil the team strengths grid, and there’s a hush that fills the room as everyone takes it in—the domains the team leads with (executing, influencing, relationship building, or strategic thinking), the standout strengths, and the areas where they really shine. 🌟 Then the magic happens when we dive into conversations and activities around the team strengths grid and build self-awareness, team awareness, and help the team feel seen and valued for their unique contributions. I can't wait to deliver this session in a few weeks and work with this new team. 😁 Are you a new leader trying to mold a cohesive team? Dreaming of a team-building workshop but don’t know where to start? DM me and let me tailor a powerful team-building workshop for your team, so you can lead with confidence, have an impact, and tap into your team's strengths.

Something I learned this week: The power of getting out the way! An easy trap for leaders to fall in to, is to get too involved in every decision. I think this regularly comes from a place of either needing to feel in control or a desire to be helping as much as possible. But what if the best way you can actually help is to get out of the way all together? This week I had the pleasure of watching the High Performance team achieve multiple game-changing milestones. All of which were helped most by unlocking action and then staying out of their way. Surround yourself with people who are way better than you in their focus areas… - Great people want to do great things and don’t need me breathing down their neck - Being the smartest person in the room for every business function would only props up my ego… not the bottom line Set the vision… - Make the vision clear in the hiring process and consistently remind people thereafter - This becomes the anchor for so many decisions across the business… most of which I won’t be involved in directly Supervise the environment… - Optimise efficiency by overseeing HOW people are working together… not WHAT they’re doing specifically - Make it clear what people have 100% autonomy over and how they get sign off on the bits they need approval for Clear their path and get the heck out of their way… - Look holistically across the teams and seek out blockers for people, so you can help remove them - When I’m too close to everything, it’s hard for me to see how I can improve the overall picture… and sometimes I find out I’m accidentally slowing things down Big thanks to the whole team at High Performance. It’s an honour to work with you / to stay out of your way

𝗬𝗔𝗬...leadership is all off to their executive offsite! I’ll actually be able to get some real work done... ...at least until they return all fired up and excited about the new strategy. And of course after some rah rah meetings, we’ll all end up right back doing the same things we always do. Sadly this happens far more often that it should. Especially considering how much is spent on these strategy sessions! The problem is that very few companies know how to breakdown strategy into execution and configure their tools to support so you can manage it on an ongoing basis. What does a breakdown look like? Mission, Vision, Values, OKRs, Initiatives, KPIs...that's all the strategy world. How do we accomplish an Initiative? We need 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗦. Are we trying an 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔? We need to get clear on what it is and then break it down into 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦. Ready to make it happen? Let's nail down who is doing what. Create 𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗦. Leadership knows the what the Initiatives are. Operational teams know what their Tasks are. Nobody can owns the Ideas and requirements. So nobody can see who's doing things they shouldn't be, and what things need to be done that aren't being worked on. And this is why strategy is disconnected from execution. ------------- Follow me for actionable insights on simplifying operations! We've baked all of these best practices into our COO Toolkit for Monday.com. Message me for a free copy. No strings!
