🚨 Do you know how many #SaaS applications your organization is using? 🚨 Do you know how your sensitive data is being stored across these SaaS solutions? 🚨 Are you aware of your users' behavior on these platforms? It's easy to focus on securing your front doors—email, removable drives, and network security—but what about your “#backdoors“? Your data may be leaving unnoticed through the growing number of SaaS platforms your teams rely on every day. 🌐 While SaaS solutions enable efficiency and collaboration, they can also pose significant security risks if left unchecked. It's time to get visibility into your SaaS ecosystem and ensure that your data is secure, no matter where it's stored or accessed. 🔒 #SaaS #DataSecurity #DLP #CASB #SSPM

Absolutely spot on Julian Cardarelli! The gatekeeping of Single Sign-On (SSO) as a premium feature is not just outdated—it's a potential security risk that undermines the entire SaaS ecosystem. The analogy of charging extra for door locks is perfect. In an era where data breaches and credential stuffing attacks are increasingly sophisticated, SSO isn't a "nice-to-have"—it's cybersecurity 101. Small and medium businesses deserve the same security foundations as enterprise clients. What's particularly compelling about this perspective is how it reframes the conversation. Premium tiers should be about adding value, not withholding basic protection. Imagine if we applied this logic to other security measures—would we charge extra for encryption? For multi-factor authentication? For SaaS founders listening: Security isn't a competitive advantage—it's a baseline expectation. Your innovation should shine through solving complex problems, not by artificially restricting fundamental security features. #SaaSTrends #CyberSecurity #ProductStrategy

🔐 It's 2024, and we need to talk about SSO in SaaS. Remember when SSL certificates were a premium feature? Today, that sounds absurd. Yet here we are, with Single Sign-On still being treated as a "enterprise feature" by countless SaaS providers. Let's be clear: SSO isn't a luxury—it's a fundamental security measure. It reduces password fatigue, strengthens access controls, and simplifies user management. Holding it hostage behind premium tiers is like charging extra for locks on doors. To my fellow SaaS founders and product leaders: If your growth strategy relies on withholding basic security features, you're doing it wrong. Your premium tiers should offer genuine value through advanced capabilities, superior support, and enhanced functionality—not through basic security measures. Want to drive enterprise adoption? Focus on building features that actually solve enterprise problems: - Advanced workflow automation - Deep analytics and reporting - Custom integrations - Dedicated support - Advanced compliance features Security shouldn't be a bargaining chip—it should be your baseline. Make your product more compelling, not less secure. What are your thoughts? Should SSO be treated as a standard feature in 2024? #SaaS #ProductStrategy #Security #Enterprise
