Building EV fast charging sites in regional towns on busy routes connecting our cities is so important for fostering the uptake of electric vehicles here in Australia. This new station in Goondiwindi does just that. Its halfway between Dubbo and Brisbane and built by Yurika as part of the extensive Queensland Electric Super Highway. Its providing important infrastructure for Queensland travellers, and its on Chargefox. #qesh #yurika #ev #evcharging #electricsuperhighway #onchargefox

Electric vehicle drivers can now add a new stop to their regional Queensland road trip with the opening of a new fast charger in Goondiwindi. The newest stop on the Queensland Electric Super Highway, Goondiwindi provides a critical link for EV drivers heading to Western Queensland and will soon be joined by charging stations in Roma, Injune, Rolleston, and Emerald. The Queensland Electric Super Highway is an initiative of the Queensland Government, built and operated by #Yurika and supported by RACQ. It’s a network of over 50 #electricvehicle charging stations from Coolangatta to Port Douglas, extending out into regional Queensland, making #EV travel a growing reality across the State. Our network is well maintained and highly reliable. https://bit.ly/4hEAa0z Sam Bush Sharyn Wright Ben Routledge

Building fast chargers is great. I really don't see the point of slow public chargers ie 7kW per hour - same as one L of petrol or diesel every 5 minutes. Not much use. Fast chargers should be the only chargers installed - whether country or metro. JMO.
