Economic uncertainty is good for self-storage. As inflation cools and the tech sector changes, the self-storage industry typically benefits from the relocations and entrepreneurial endeavors of the recently unemployed. Self-storage fills the needs of both consumers and businesses that are oftentimes generated in recessionary periods. People need a place to put their belongings and businesses need a place to put their office assets, such as chairs and desks. While we’ll continue to have a pragmatic, insightful approach in both our strategy and tactics, we maintain that #SelfStorage is still our preferred real estate asset class.

Ever thought about starting your own business? since I was in my late teens I've wanted to start my own business, mostly because I wanted to be in control of my time. In the early 1990s when the Internet was first available I was certain I could do something with it... but I just didn't know exactly what. I thought I could live anywhere, if I could want online. maybe travel while earning?? I researched a few different things but nothing really resonated with me. Then in 2017 I found something! It was unique. I saw huge upside potential and the initial investment was pretty small. This online business is mostly automated, easy to set up (fairly quickly too) and can earn more than any job would ever pay you! If you're looking for something in these financially tight times, this could certainly help you. I'd love to share this information with you on how to get started, for not cost and no obligations: www.TheRobertsonLife.ca 🏆 If you do not have any experience in doing something like this, we have built an online , video based, step by step guide that will show you absolutely everything! And if you start now, 2025 could be one of your best years!! www.TheRobertsonLife.ca

You need to have a mindset of accepting the hard truth and saying - "It's okay, I will take care." One Day vs. Day One - Requires motivation and hard work. Apart from that, it requires rigorous trying and unwavering focus, irrespective of several challenges. For this, you need to have a mindset of accepting the hard truth and saying - "It's okay, I will take care." On the first day after signing the agreement for Rent office . I was not able to start the office operations immediately. I paid rent for the building for three months without any employees. I needed money for setting up the office infrastructure. Additionally, I had to make the right hires for my rural branch. I required some time, and the entire process had to be done incrementally. - I remained optimistic and told myself - "It's okay, I will take care." During the growing stage, while anxiously waiting to see if I would secure a project, I would finally get it. Just when I felt happy I got the project, the employees I trained, would give their notice for better opportunities. I would be taken aback each time. They would say, "I'm sorry Sir, I know you are expecting me to work on this important project and I know you need me at this time. But I have got an opportunity, which I cannot miss." I couldn't explain my situation to them when they wanted to pursue their growth and better opportunities. - Instead, I extended forgiveness and told myself, "It's okay, I will take care." Prospective clients sometimes wouldn't know how much effort I had put in after several hours spent understanding their requirements, analyzing them for the right technological solutions, and preparing appropriate quotes. While I was doing all this, they would suddenly become unresponsive. - In those moments of doubt, questioning where I went wrong, I gave myself assurance, "It's okay, I will take care." Every time I remained optimistic during the toughest challenges, I would question myself: "Am I a Dreamer waiting for 'One day' or a Doer making every day 'Day One'?" How long should I wait? No matter what happened, I always gave acceptance to it, saying, "It's okay, I will take care." Today, with all the experience I have had, I realize that with every setback, I stayed optimistic and reminded myself, "Today is My Day." Embrace the hard truth. Stay focused. Keep saying, "It's okay, I will take care."

Building roads and sidewalks isn’t worth a TED talk, but it still gets you out of the mud. In other words: Meaningful improvements that have positive impacts at the foundation of everything you do often aren’t flashy. Because their effects are diffuse, and their implementation is slow, coordinated by a team (not a sole hero), and responsive to each situation. Not easy stuff to write a book or give a keynote about. Plus, sometimes the basics seem so obvious, we assume they must already be in place. That’s old news, duh. But in reality, no one has stopped to look down at their feet. Things feeling muddy? You don’t need to experience a Copernican revolution to make the experience of running your business so much better. No doubt, there’s countless shiny, one-off things on offer, promising to come to your rescue. The only revolution I recommend is to resist them. Instead, keep your eyes on the foundations. The boring building blocks. The things that make everything work. I promise there’ll be a lot you can work on. If you’re a business owner that thinks ‘if I could only clone myself, things wouldn’t feel so hard,’ ask yourself: - Are your books in excellent order, and does the person in charge of them produce regular, thorough reports that inform your decisions? (Or are they mostly good, and you glance at them occasionally, but your bookkeeper wasn’t hired to advise you on strategy, and so as long as the taxes are sorted, you figure that works?) - Are the processes in your business documented so everyone knows how things are done, and can find their way without asking you? (Or is every week a new adventure, and your team doesn’t take charge because they can’t predict your whims, and either way, it’s easier just to keep having you direct them, and maybe you hate it but also kind of like it that way?) - Is there an organized, digitally-based, remote-friendly shared workspace, where everyone understands where to find things, store things, name things, share things, deliver things, and report on updates to things? (Or are there endless emails because confusion, variety, and just-needed-to-double-check are the default mode?) Tend to the infrastructure. Smooth out those surfaces so sprinting is possible. You know, without getting stuck in the mud. I’ll be here. Your friendly neighbourhood finance/admin remote-work-tech-stack evangelist, proud defender of boring and deeply effective solutions. Always ready to throw a party for those small, sensible steps that carry you over the long haul.
