Few of the men's and woman's players today and our managers have come down to Queen Elizabeth to spread a bit of Christmas joy, to see a few of the young children and a few of the older patients to hand out presents. Very humbling really. You know, it puts a lot of things into perspective, especially if you have, if you have children, um, but wonderful, you know, experience to meet them, to meet certain people, to meet the wonderful people that look after these people, you know, look after the nurses, the doctors, the staff and, and everything really, really humbling. And, and a really good thing to do, you know, as part of our community with a, with a, you know, a real community club and to be able to go and hopefully spread a little bit of joy or something a bit different from their routine. Is, is, is, is a good thing for us to do. And probably I'll do to you really, especially with, you know, in, in most communities, the football club is, is a big part, but in ours it's, it's a massive part. You know, I think it's so important. There's a club. We represent both men and women's players together. And for me, it's a privilege to come here and. There's some Chris Christmas spirit, really nice to see everyone around her, different types of people in there that are facing different challenges in this in this short period of time and just feel that both sets of players really portrayed themselves in the best light. You know, we're in a privileged position being footballers and and we can obviously affect a lot of people's lives and and and positive ways. So coming to the Queen Elizabeth before sport here, they they do such great things and we're obviously such a big community club as well. It makes a real difference to a lot of kids that we can come in and give up some time, but obviously if as players to speak to them. Hear their stories, speak to their families and and very grateful to come and do it. Obviously we're we're coming here and they're smiling seeing us. But everyone is really appreciative for us players to get to come and do something like this. And hopefully it's been a bit cheer on Christmas. I think it's great to kind of spread the joy around the hospital, people going through tough times that I think it's nice to see a smile on their faces. So we're competing with the house today to visit our children and families. Food enters the Hospice they handing out which was presented with players. Players have all been chatting to the families. Playing games with kids. So yeah, it's been really nice afternoon. But it's nice some of the staff chat and some of the fathers chopping fans. So it was nice to be able to to meet them, to chat with them. They can chat in football with Curtis Plumbing and the players. So yeah, it's really good. It's nice to give something back to the community and I think the players win enjoys as well. Puts life into perspective straight away. As soon as you come down there, it's you can have a tough time on a Saturday, you can have a tough, tough training session for example, and soon you step foot through these doors you just come straight back down to reality on them to see how. Anyone else is in day-to-day life and yeah, it's important if it's all the lads and also she's I'm sure we're seeing women's team in the same. But we enjoyed the the last hour or so that we spent. We really enjoy it here at Christmas. Make it special Tad. And it's even nicer when we get people come from outside and also give them, you know, their time and their effort. And it's lovely for a local family fun to come and support us and which is absolutely great. And as you can see on the faces of the children, I absolutely loved it.
*** R-Day 🎃 +37 *** Why the 'S' in ESG and SDG is BS in Pensions La La Land 👇
During my 2021/22 assessment of Fixed Interest and Default Funds at 14 Pension Providers, which an estimated 98% of 'Double Defaulters' invest their contributions, two of my questions for ESG Fund Managers were;
➡️ Can you confirm how much of your ESG/SDG mandate is allocated to Front Line Disaster Relief Zones (as identified by the United Nations)?
➡️ Assuming your running yield is 0% p.a. after 0.5% product fees, do you believe your Fixed Interest Fund represents Value for Money when the ONS Data reveals the average interest rate charged to Consumer Debt is 19.9% p.a. and applies to 1 in 2 workers?
In a nutshell, the 'S' in ESG/SDG is largely a myth amongst Pension Providers.
And UKFS will not change it's approach whilst those who own DC Workplace Pension Platforms continue to block competition that exposes unethical profiteering from consumer apathy.
It is astonishing that CEOs, CIOs, SMCR's, Secretary's of State, Civil Servants and Professional Bodies are all STAYING SILENT about the catastrophic financial harm caused to 13m Taxpayers by ignoring the Financial Conduct Authority expectations under COBS19.1.
The FCA, and the FSA before them predicted those in positions of trust wouldn't complete adequate Due Diligence on my 3PPS Framework.
The FSA asked me to provide training and education, which I funded for FREE via the CII/PFS, CISI and PMI in 2011 and 2012.
I even wrote to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and The Pensions Regulator in 2013 to warn about systemic failures triggered by Auto Enrolment (AE).
In May 2014 the FCA Small Firms Unit (SFU) confirmed my concerns and in October 2014 my discussions with 4 Pension Law Firms confirmed that all DC Occupational Trust Default Funds would expose 92% of Workers to serious financial harm.
And despite CIOs and Fund Managers falling under the scope of COBS19.1, history reveals that Product Providers 'stuck together' and decided to Opt Out every customer, without completing any financial analysis on the impact it would have.
The impact at that point in 2015 was worth around £100bn.
In 2025 it will have grown by 10x to over ONE TRILLION.
And still Pensions La La Land and our UK Government STAY SILENT.
Last time I was #GasLit for #Whistleblowing and given an education in #DARVO by 'thugs in suits' who had the backing of someone very powerful in Government.
But history has an uncanny knack of revealing bad actors in the end.
I was interested to read Queen Máxima appears to be aligned with my goals for the 3PPS Framework and Best Use Of Money (BUOM) principles.
I'm planning to launch SIDs One Stop Eco Shop for local communities under the UN's Samoan Pathway via #ThePowerOfTen (10x) Community.
10x will also support poorer communities across the UK to tackle the Affordability Crisis.
The math doesn't lie, Workplace Savings are not fit for purpose for 92% of Workers.
Help is on the way.
#BUOM
We were delighted to welcome Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands to showcase our financial inclusion work and learn about her new United Nations mandate for financial health.
Queen Máxima, pictured with our Chief Executive Nikhil Rathi, explained that access to financial services did not always lead to better financial health outcomes.
She outlined her vision for financial services to enable customers to better manage day to day expenses, build financial resilience, achieve longer term financial goals and secure more confident financial futures.

'In this case, the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II served as a focal point for national identity and unity. Such events can help bridge existing divisions in society and strengthen feelings of national solidarity.'
💡 This NEW article co-authored by Professor Harvey Whitehouse is the first quantitative investigation of a phenomenon known as 'identity fusion' following a national funeral.
The research highlights how collective rituals can encourage group cohesion.
What insights could this offer policymakers and community leaders who are looking to promote effective co-operation?

it is nice to see the warm and happy reception for the King and Queen in Australia.
I am pleased that I “called” this several days ahead of their arrival, in my article.
When I saw all the vicious sneers in the lead up, I knew I had to set a more positive tone for the national visit.
It was particularly ungracious that so-called “important” people boasted about rejecting their invitations to meet the King and Queen, when so many ordinary Australians would love an opportunity to meet the monarchs.
I am always baffled by the anti-joy characteristics of public intellectuals and commentators in Australia.
These people like to sneer at everything. They jeer at happy occasions. They mock sad occasions. They do not like national days of any description even though Australians of all backgrounds and beliefs participate in them. They do not even like etiquette, and all the little acts of courtesy that make daily life go smoothly and promote goodwill between people.
What does it matter to you if other people take joy or meaning in important public events and occasions - or even a Taylor Swift concert?
Just because you are highly educated and have a platform doesn’t mean you should make crude digs at your fellow citizens! In fact your responsibilities to others are all the more important.
Many intelligent people express their views respectfully. One does not cancel out the other.
I do not understand this phenomenon and probably never will.
Ultimately, we can all criticise and debate concepts without dampening people’s spirits.
President, BCS The Chartered Institute for IT | Managing Consultant at Revell Research Systems | Director General at Institution of Analysts and Programmers
Today is actually an important anniversary.
Forty years ago today, on the 31st July 1984, the late Queen in Council approved the incorporation of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT by Royal Charter, with the power to maintain a register of suitably competent professionals.
The approval set in chain a process that led to HM Queen Elizabeth II witnessing the Royal Charter on 21st September 1984.
It is under the authority of this Royal Charter that BCS registers highly competent and ethical IT professionals working in the IT, digital and computing arena.
The independent, third party assurance that being registered as a chartered professional brings is highly valuable to those who need to rely on competent and ethical professionals.
I believe that chartered and professional registrations are critical to building trust in the IT profession, particularly in the wake of the Post Office Horizon Scandal, the inexorable rise of AI, and sadly, the continuing IT outages that disrupt everyone's lives.
Here are 10 points about a *fare queen*, which I interpret as a noble or royal queen renowned for her fairness and justice:
1. **Symbol of Justice**: A fare queen is often seen as a beacon of justice, fairness, and equality in her kingdom, ensuring that all subjects are treated with impartiality.
2. **Wise Ruler**: Known for her wisdom, she carefully balances power and compassion, making decisions that benefit both the kingdom and its people.
3. **Mediator of Conflicts**: When disputes arise, a fare queen steps in as an unbiased mediator, ensuring peaceful resolutions that uphold fairness for all involved parties.
4. **Protector of the Weak**: Her fairness often extends to protecting the less privileged in society, ensuring they are not oppressed or mistreated.
5. **Laws of Equity**: She champions laws and systems that promote justice, often revising outdated or unjust laws to reflect a more equitable society.
6. **Inspiration to Other Leaders**: Her reputation as a fair ruler makes her an exemplar for other monarchs and leaders, often being consulted for advice on governance and justice.
7. **Moral Authority**: Beyond legal fairness, a fare queen commands moral authority, leading by example in personal integrity and ethical behavior.
8. **Promoter of Fair Trade and Economy**: Economic policies under her reign would aim to create opportunities for all, ensuring fair trade, wages, and access to resources across her kingdom.
9. **Inclusive Leadership**: A fare queen ensures that diverse voices are heard, including the perspectives of different classes, genders, and regions, in governance.
10. **Legacy of Fairness**: Her reign is often remembered fondly in history for the peace and prosperity that fairness brought to her people, cementing her legacy as a just and beloved monarch.
Suppose we place a queen on a chessboard, now in all the cells which are in a non attacking position with respect to the queen I.e., those cells which the queen cannot attack. Now how do we calculate the cells which are symmetrical in these cells. Now, if we generalize it to an n*n chessboard and m queens are in place, how do we calculate which all cells are now symmetrical??
The online version of my puzzle. You can play it here:
Rule: Promote the pawn, then move the queen to the red square in the fewest moves possible.

See my colleague, Stuart Crippin's, article about the main reasons for setting up a trust and what potential settlors (those transferring assets into trust) should have in mind when contemplating doing so.
Stuart Crippin, Partner and Head of the #PrivateClient team, has been featured in eprivateclient sharing his thoughts on the news that Prince Harry is set to be given access to the Queen Mother’s family trust. He also delves in to the key points that must be considered when establishing a family trust.

Support for the monarchy has been in decline over the last decade or so, our most recent British Social Attitudes data shows 54% of people in Britain now believe that it is ‘very’ or ‘quite’ important for Britain to have a monarchy.
There was a temporary reversal of this decline after the death of HM The Queen Elizabeth II, shortly after which 62% felt that having a monarchy was important. However, it appears that the trend in attitudes has reverted to the longer-term decline since the accession to the throne of HM The King Charles III. As many as a quarter now say either that ‘the monarchy should be abolished’ or that it is ‘not at all important’, matching a figure first recorded in 2021.
Younger people have always been less likely than older people to believe that it is ‘very important’ for Britain to have a monarchy. However, since 2021, the proportion of those aged 55 and over who say it is ‘very important’ to have a monarchy has fallen from 44% to 37%.
