On July 2, Vietnam published a draft Digital Technology Industry Law, to lay down new rules for digital technology products and services, including AI. > AI systems will be regulated based on risk classifications, and labelling requirements imposed. > The law excludes from its ambit digital technologies used for defense, security, and cryptographic purposes. > The law will replace provisions applicable to the IT industry in the Information Technology Law. The consultation closes on September 2, 2024. https://lnkd.in/gWwuPFK9 #vietnam #tech #digital #ai #asia #asean #southeastasia #apac #law #legislation #consultation
