I am excited to announce that I’m embarking on a new research journey as a volunteer for a joint-research initiative promoting African impact blockchain projects, hosted by the Africa Blockchain Institute in partnership with Positiveblockchain.io under the BC100+ initiative. This research aims to spotlight the transformative role of blockchain technology in driving sustainable development across Africa. As part of this initiative, we will explore how blockchain is being integrated into diverse industries—such as finance, agriculture, healthcare, and supply chain management—across the continent. By leveraging decentralized technologies, African enterprises are redefining business models, enhancing transparency, and fostering economic inclusion. Through this research, our goal is to showcase the impact of blockchain projects that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlight how blockchain can unlock new pathways for growth, financial empowerment, and organizational sustainability in Africa. From improving supply chain transparency to fostering financial inclusion and beyond, we aim to shed light on the vast potential of African blockchain innovations.
